Someone reported me for t-bagging

I teabag to get into the enemies head and they lose focus and stop playing the game correctly. Its like a really good strat I use, and I get reported for it because it really does is make people angry. Im not trying to be rude, I just want to get into peoples heads, thats all.

Tactical crouching isn’t against the rules.

You never know if there is an enemy sniper waiting to click your head

Play Moira, bind “stupidity is not a right” and “are you finished?”, the result is the same minus the reports. Though I’m not above tactically crouching, you never know where that pesky Widowmaker is.

Lucio "why are you so angry"
Symm “such a lack of imagination”/"i will put you in your place"
Zen"so…dissapointing"
Mercy…truely a nice lady, though just killing with her pea shooter should be enough.
Orisa “Do you need a hug?”

Ummm That’s pretty much my personal roster. YMMV if you like DPS.

This is absolutely disgusting. “Im not trying to be rude, I just want to get into peoples heads”. I.e. you’re intentionally BMing people and being a poor sport just on the off chance someone tilts. That’s terrible and I’d report you anytime.

Now tactical WASD+crouch in combat, that’s completely different.

I hate it say it but…

I think the only time t-bagging is justified is in “retaliation”, although it’s still bad mannered and encourages toxicity in the scene. Imagine IRL sports pros giving each other the middle finger in a match on camera without being fined? Toxicity like this in OWL only serves to encourage toxicity at all levels of Overwatch, and ultimately undermines the sport as a whole.

There’s also a T bag spray and an emote for Ana (using an actual teabag though.)

If you get inside their heads, then you are most likely gonna win the game, its not disgusting, its a strat.

Just like a guy I sometimes play with in other games, trying to get into “their heads” usually means he will constantly harass the enemy team for the whole duration of the match.

T-bagging? I wouldn’t care but don’t get triggered and lose your cool if someone tries to get into your head.

You clearly haven’t watched any Boxing (and other martial arts), Grandmaster chess or Go tournaments then, 50% of the battle there is “off the board”.

personally if someone teabags me i laugh because its funny. ok man you got me, i’ll get you next time. in turn i hope they laugh when i teabag them. i will teabag teammates at times and they do the same, its not offensive or bad at all.

Something like tea bagging can be a strategy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it isn’t ‘disgusting’.

Like, we know you got that kill or whatever, but you don’t have to literally rub your over inflated ego in our faces. (Talking in 3rd person, not entirely directed at you.)

Honestly, it just adds to the toxicity that’s already spreading like wildfire in Overwatch, so maybe the next time you sleep that pesky Genji as Ana, think twice before going and pressing that crouch button over and over on top of their body. Otherwise, you do risk getting some overly salty players reporting you. (As I said before, it’s annoying and disrespectful, etc but I still don’t see it as something that you could report someone for.)

Dva: “Is this easy mode?”

You’re correct, I refuse to participate in viewing martial arts sports (for other reasons)… and I think the posturing in such sports is deplorable. I don’t want Overwatch to be like that.

All’s fair in love and war.

If someone is gonna get mad, I’m gonna put them in their place. And then waste my ult on their corpse for maximum disrespect.

I tbag but like only on really rude teammates, otherwise when i tbag it’s literally on nothing occasionally I’ll do it on an enemy corpse but like only when they did it on mine.

I do the same thing with Tracer. I have her “too slow” voice line bound to V, and I spam it while T-bagging after a kill if I want to get into someone’s head. The only thing possibly reportable about that is the voice line spam, which Scott Mercer has come out and said is reportable. I’d include a link if I could. Just look up “overwatch voice line spam reportable”, it should be the first result.

Hell, every character has a voice line that could be deemed “offensive”. The snowflakes would report you even if you only did it once.

Again, all’s fair in love and war. Unless you’re spamming or being obnoxious, there’s nothing wrong with using game functions for whatever reason.
