“expected” means your team was higher rated than the enemy team. So you get less rating from the win.
“calibration” means your rating is uncertain, so you can gain and lose more rating from matches (as is the case with placements).
Yes but its just placements, games are way too random (skill too low and too high)
Well, those arent really placements as there arent those per season. i mean, if you had placements you would see the “predicted rank” screens instead of the standard progression.
But if you had a pause in playing you may get the calibration modifier regardless, for example.
