Some ults have no business charging so fast

junkrats being a prime example

Ok. How do you plan do buff him if you nerf his ult charge? Tire is an enormous part of his value after all

Sounds like someone had a bad game against a Junkrat and came here to complain

His ult charges so fast because it’s inconsistent garbage. Ulta that charge slow are more consistent and tend to just be better, like flux or grav.

what do you mean by tire being inconsistent? I’m not trying to be a contrarian I’m genuinely curious

It can be destroyed, it has a limited time to deploy, also the edge of the explosion is only 445 so if deployed too far up it’s easily mitigated.

It’s good if it can get deployed in the fright area, but if the enemy team is attentive then there’s a good chance they can take out tire regularly.

There’s a reason why Junk hasn’t been meta in ages.

It either kills a lot or does nothing, and since it can be shot by anyone, it has a lot of weaknesses. Its owner goes AFK and is an easy kill while using it, and it’s not even guaranteed value.

Now compare it to EMP: it hacks everyone, Sombra can still do stuff, and, while it can be cancelled, it’s not as easy as blowing up a riptire.

I don’t think this was a good argument lol

I believe these 2 characters should have a slower ult gain as well.

eh. hanzos is super easy to avoid though

It wouldn’t be much of a problem if folks stopped feeding them kills.

Both of these ults are inconsistent and not great at winning fights on their own. Shatter is great in low ranks because people will all stand in the same spot, but once people don’t do that, shatter is meh at best. Same with dragon, it’s an ult that requires people to all be grouped up.
