After accidentally necroing two dead posts i decided to make my own post about a few topics regarding skins and some other stuff.
Let’s start with my main point. Moira skins.
Some hate’em, some love’em. I see myself in the latter category. I think pretty much all of them are amazing, I especially adore the Scientist skin. The lab coat, the prototype look of the Bionic grasp, that tie and black shirt, the nice “backpack”. There is just one thing that bothers me alot. In the Transformation hightlight intro with every other skin there is a part of the backpack that spins. And looking at the skin I really liked the centrifuge aesthetic of the bottom part. Only to find out that it’s not… The only skin that really looked like it ought to spin doesn’t… Also in the Coalescence highlight the backpack spins, stops and sort of clicks in before Moira unleashes the ultimate. except again with the Scientist skin. Why not Blizzard? '
I hope it gets corrected or at least fixed for Overwatch 2, since we already know that the skins will be carried over. That would be quiet cool Blizzard.
Also on a final note regarding the Scientist skin I’d like to ask if the vials on her belt could be somehow connected to the rest of the gear, since it doesn’t make a lot of sense for them to change colour otherwise.
With that slight complain out of the way, some ideas in generell. I was thinking about how most legendary skins really change the look of the weapon I noticed how Moira doesn’t really get that privilege. Sure, her hands look different, but that sort of has to happen due to the whole reskin, right? But what about the Orbs? They always stay the same way. For example for the Banshee they could have faces! Like tormented souls and released souls for the healing orb. Stuff like that would find many fans in the community, I’m sure! To be honest I am not really sure how the other skins would translate this idea but I am certain the very talented staff in Blizzard would have a few thoughts regarding that.
Now just a few more ideas for Moria in a quickfire round and I’ll move on.
I know she already has a Lunar skin, but I am really surprised that she didn’t get a Three Kingdoms because I think there is an ideal candidate for her. Cao Cao! You know the villain of the story? The sceeming, backstabbing, super intelligent son of a gun! A match made in Heaven! Except for the whole gender situation, but that is only a tiny hindrance, in my opinion. The iconic hat and robes still work just fine!
Also as many fans have already suggested I’d like to aswell point out how Moira absolutly needs a Wizard or Sorceress.
And lastly a suggestions for the last event skin Moira doesn’t have: The summer games. There I want to play a little with the Moira/Mercy duality and to Mercy’s Winged Victory skin as a good roman/greek godess, I’d like to present to you the idea of an evil godess for Moira.
For a new highlight (which she really needs) I would like one from the enemies viewpoint like Ana’s “shh…” or Orisa’s “Immovable”. I was thinking an enemy running away, looking back, seeing Moira throw the purple Orb and vanishing, just to reappear in front of the victim, looking evil and finishing him of with the grasp. IMAGINE, BLIZZARD!!!
Last but not least one final request of from an old Team Fortress 2 veteran which we all know is Overwatch’s granddaddy. I would love a voice line for Moira something in the style of “the healing is not as rewarding as the hurting” as an hommage to the Medic in TF2. I think it would fit her character nicely.
Last Moira question: why does the Oasis skin look so good in the concept art but the actual skin removes all the unique features of it? The parted sleeves, the double helix ear rings, the beefy backpack? Bring back the OG concept to the skin Blizzard!
Ok. I’ll shut up about Moira now…
Moving on to some other heros.
Zenyatta
How is it even possible that Zen didn’t already get a Maximillian or Mondatta skin?! It seems so obvious and relatively easy to do, since most of the work is already done.
Soldier 76
I loved the 1776 skin even if i hate Soldier as a character. He is kind of a jerk… Nevertheless would a Lui Bei skin fit him perfectly.
Sigma
Just like Mercy and Moira had their big brain skins so does Sigma need his. Technically he has his Dr. De Kuiper skin but for me it cannot replace a wavy lab coat while flying through the air feel. We have Sigma in his origin story and in sprays depicted in his pre-insanity outfit, we need it in the game.
Also a somewhat wierd idea but an intriguing one nonetheless: Schrödingers Sigma. A cat skin for the madman half-dead, half-alive.
Sigma/Winston
An Einstein skin. Nothing more to say.
One could combine it with the afore mentioned lab coat skin for Sigma or make it a nice skin for Winston too.
Masquerade Skins
Like Reaper’s and Widowmaker’s skins inspired by the Masquerade comic we need more of these kind of skins. Stating with the Harlequin Sombra and the flashy Doomfist skin but also others like Moira. (yes i did it again)
Ashe/Bob
Highschool Ashe as seen in the origin story with maybe Bully or Teacher Bob, since he was in his butler role in those scenes. Maybe even in Human form?
Like the Deadlock for McCree a young Deadlock Ashe and Bob skin. Obvious reference to the up-coming Deadlock Rebels comics.
An “just out of trouble”-skin inspired by a few shots in the origin story. Ripped up clothes, ruined make-up, battered Bob. I bet the people at Blizzard might cook up something special.
As an idea for a Winter skin I don’t want to bore you with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. But instead an Elsa from Frozen look with a Snow-Monster!
Wrecking Ball
Wrecking Ball has a spray… A spray called Hamster Ball… Maybe you know what comes next. A skin with reversed roles! Hammond being the Ball and the Robot sitting inside The legs could be the legs of a hamster and in ball form he is just a fluffy ball with a hamster face! He you be shooting nuts from his cheeks or something like that!
And a Cage ball where you can see Hammond running inside in ball form.

It’s a good idea in general 
So. These are some ideas and thought I had. Feel free to make some suggestions of you own or ask questions about details and such. I hope this post gets some traction, so that we can convey some community ideas to the devs. I know Blizzard can make amazing skins and the community has some great ideas. There are tons of them. So let’s combine this, people!
