I was scrolling through these forums and I’ve noticed that it’s overwhelmingly negative (myself included). That’s normal, we are all passionate about this game and want it to be as good as it can be, but I think some positivity is overdue for these forums.
I wanna hear some things we all love about OW. I’ll go first:
-I love OWL. It is the most ambitious e-sports league and for them to pull off something so big is truly amazing. (Go the outlaws)
-I think overwatch has the best cast of heroes of any game of its kind from a character standpoint. Awesome skins, awesome personalities and amazing origins.
-I love the change to 5v5, such a good idea and I enjoy it so much more
-I love how the devs are handling this new era, constantly something fresh, great communication and so much to look forward to!
What do you love about OW?

Also, love that the devs found such a wonderfully balanced place for Brig in OW2. Despite the initial criticism, her changes were perfect, and an amazing redesign to boot.

Honestly Overwatch 2 beta brought me back after a year long break! I’m in love with this game again and honestly can’t wait until it goes live on Oct 4!!!

Bastion is a robot. That’s pretty cool.

This! Brig has to be one of the hardest heroes to balance and so grateful the devs figured out amazing changes to make her fun and balanced!

For many on here the only thing more fun than OW is complaining about it, and given how Support heavy the forum is it’s no wonder they are disenfranchised often with OW2 which demands Supports play more keenly and frankly do more damage.
I am cautiously optimistic that OW2 can succeed. It won’t rise back to the 40 million players it had, but despite low twitch views, it will see a surge in players when it goes F2P, games always do. The trick is maintaining them over time, and to do that the game has to execute well. For the most part, OW2 is on point, but it does need to iron some rough points out first before 10/4.

Everything, it has so much potential, except that the people actually working on it have no idea how to unleash that potential.

I’ve always wanted a Mercy skin that’s armoured up instead of dressed down. This was the first OWL skin in a while that I immediately snapped up.

I love that hog isn’t in every single game in OW2

For now - my worry is he was starting to show up because, well, Hog-mains
OTOH, JTQ is so darn fun and so is Orisa I suspect we will see them a lot. Even Rein is more fun, and that is a near miracle…
I love the heroes, maps, and the idea of a future worth fighting for.
I love a ton of the skins in the game too.
I love PvE and can’t wait to play it when it is finally here.
I’m positive this game will flop as it has become a shell of it’s former self.
I tried.

Maybe one of the most organized one that is for sure.
I hope it will get better with time because right now cams are a pain to follow and the live casters are absolutely worthless. They are only there to entertain when I think a better role for them would be to talk about game and map strategies, how players became champions, stats and play, teams coordination and team comps, and all of that.
Outside of that, what I like about Overwatch, outside of the game mechanics that are amazingly done, is the universe. The pixar characters, the graphics and etc.

Oooh I love this idea! Especially considering so many of the bench is ex-pro players they could add so much insight. I do like the entertaining factor they bring and think it might be a bit dry if they are ONLY there to analyse strategy but surely a middle ground between light hearted commentary and real-time strategy analysis would be so cool to see!

I like that the new engine doesn’t seem to require a better cpu. I can keep using my on-the-way-to-potato pc.
They’ve basically left Lucio untouched. Although, with the tank knockback basically removed, I will miss some of the big boops.
I like the new gamemode, Push.
