To the point they drag their team down. Not sure what they are actually scared of. Christ.
They want to never die, even though killing and fighting the enemy is the #1 mechanic in this game.
Or they play heroes that are non engaging and that their design encourages hiding and running away from fights.
Which is more of a design flaw of the hero.
Maybe they are scared of the Hanzo or Widow on the enemy team, a Soldier can also be a great threat and there will always be being deleted in a second as a tank because of bad balancing.
low elo orisa’s usually do this. i get they are suppose to stand their ground but they usually push the S key instead of standing on the payload. they let the enemy walk it all the way to the end… always bugs me.
also orisa’s that set up outside the 2cp maps or koth maps and never push in heh. would be cool if 2nd tank was a more aggressive tank but usually they are teamed up with a hog who is mainly doing flanks or hiding so you never have tank presence
i know shes pretty good at high elo’s with double shield but at my elo everytime i see an orisa im like … oh man
Orisa isn’t meant to push up regardless. That’s not her job.
ngl, when I’m on a team with a Rein and Zarya and they play passive…it really triggers me.
I mean…think about it. They’re both ground takes and don’t have optimal projectile for damage that can allow them to play passive… playing passive immediately gives up space to the other team.
Frustrating.
Some people play really aggressive to the point that they drag their team down. What’s your point?
Is it really any surprise?
The game does a terrible job at teaching you how to play it and it’s relentlessly punishing of mistakes on top of that.
i think she seriously needs buffs or some type of movement acceleration (gallup from the pro/fun x-card heh). i am wondering what the javelin/spear ability will be like for OW2
Ok I play tank aggressive…
ah right, we have zen lucio. so Is just a engage and die in 0,000001 sec forever.
here your aggressive tank.
Its also a big issue with many Mercys, like GA is a 1.5 second cooldown for a reason.
And some people call others passive even if they get destroyed as they push in, or some just repeat that even if they are themself are the most standing away from fight person on the team.
A lot of times I play very passive because I’m actually just waiting for at least 3 other people on my team to all be alive at once so we can try for a push.
Seriously, some games I just watch everyone trickle in and die 1 by 1 the literal entire game long while I hold back and beg with people to group up.
that doing either is not great, want a cookie?
Zekki does not want a cookie. Trust me on this. Give the cookie to me instead, please.
Its got her/his name on it. I cant sorry.
If your tank isn’t pushing, it’s because they don’t have confidence in their healers.
If your tank is over extending, they have too much confidence and you have to let them know.
Best thing to do: Communicate. Sadly, hardly anyone does that anymore. I’m just as guilty, since hardly anyone is in comms, I rarely pipe up.
What exactly does Orisa gain by walking into Reinhardt’s range? Roadhog’s range? Literally any close-range hero’s range?
Answer: A faster death and your team being down a tank.
I’m sure it will be something terrible that completely changes her identity, and makes her a watered down version of Reinhardt.
I mean it depends what your team comp is, sometimes you need to play passive till you set up and if the setup never happens then no fights happen.
It can be really funny to watch though.
Like when you get tanks that keep trying to get behind their supports…“Ori, honey, stop hiding behind me.” Or ones that keep backing away from the payload as it approaches…across the entire map, “Rein, try using the payload as a shield. It doesn’t mind. You’ll die just standing out in the open the whole match.”
