Some of your hero customization is unavailable

Since the update, every match seems to start with a purple popup in the bottom left corner saying “ Some of your hero customization is unavailable in this instance”.

What does this mean?

I wanna know too.
Originally I thought it was because I didn’t have Illari in s6, but it persisted after I grabbed her, and still is going on.

The only customization options I can think of are weapon charms and mythic skins. Charms seem to be working ok, perhaps they’re trying to fix the mythic Genji bug?

I’ve asked people within in-game chat and no one could really tell me what this means. I seem to have all my skins and Nullimari is also still on all my guns, what are the cosmetics that are “unavailable”? It’s such a cryptic message…

I have been having this message for months now, not only now. Never figured out what it meant. I just ignore it now :smiley: And it is only on one account of mine. The other does not have it.

I’ve seen people playing with the mythic Genji skin today.

well i can tell you i get message and i dont use a single charm

i can experiment with myth skins though…i am using some and while i get the message the skins seem to be loading just fine

This may relate the 3 outfit pre-config skin tabs for skin selection.

i tested with no myth skins equipped…still getting message

yea i get that all the time too but i have no clue. been to lazy to try and figure it out.

Strange thing is I haven’t equipped anything new. The day before this patch I had no popup, install patch and now I have it despite no new cosmetics.

Yeah I kept seeing this all day today but nothing seemed to be altered? All of my skins, emotes, voice lines, even Victory Poses seemed to be just fine.

Huge necro but I started seeing this issue after yesterday’s mid-season update. No idea what the cause is.

Same here. Nothing changed besides the mid season patch…

The game is in perpetual beta

It will never be ‘fixed’

Uninstall and installing again will probably fix it

if we look back, the first time it started was right before they released mauga for a test, if we apply that same logic (i know its hard, but stay with me) one possibility would be that the test for venture will be dropping soon
