i dont know if id go there…some hate the direction the game has headed in…

but thought it was interesting to hear some of what may have gone on (allegedly anyway)

While people may disagree on the exact route, I think it’s safe to say the vast majority of the player-base has always wanted consistent content and for the game to be competitive with the Valorant’s and Fortnite’s of the world. Not a knock on Jeff’s talent as a whole, but it seems he definitely wasn’t the right guy for that goal.

Time will tell if it’s the right one, but at least we know they have a concrete direction now and it’s away from the previously floundering one.

I don’t mind a non-live service model quite as much as most people but the fact that they didn’t tell us, and also left the game stuck in unpopular metas makes me think less of them ngl. It’s not that hard to just screw over the unpopular characters/maps/modes as a stopgap QoL measure while they work on OW2.
