Sombra's teleport is the one that needs nerfing, not damage

With the removal of stuns, Sombra now has permanent get-out-of-jail-free card.
With the short cooldown on teleport, she can constantly flank from behind to target enemies but if the enemy is a better player, instead of being punished by the better player, Sombra can just teleport out at the last minute with zero consequences.

Either, Sombra should only be able to teleport after not taking damage for 1 second or have a cast time of 1 second before activating. If 1 second is too long, somewhere between 0.5 - 1 second.

She needs to be punished for losing a fight and not be able to bail to a health pack and immediately go back to finish them off of an otherwise lost 1v1. As the receiving end of winning the fight but losing the battle, this is very frustrating that she cannot be punished.

Her damage is fine. Hacking from stealth is a great rework and fits the character more. She just needs to lose her get-out-of-jail-free card.

I agree. She should be easier to punish for taking bad fights.

Nerfing her damage just makes her feel like trash whilst she also still feels like trash to play against. It solves nothing.

I always thought that removing her timer on her translocator and her stealth lowered her skill floor drastically. They should bring that back to balance her out if she’s going to have so much more damage available in her kit.

She is punished - she’s taken out of the fight and requires downtime to heal and get back.

TL only working if you haven’t taken damage for a certain amount of time is probably one of the worst ideas I’ve heard.

She teleported out just as much when there was tons of CC, so no it’s not the problem it’s the same as before lol

The problem with OW2 sombra is being able to hack from stealth, greatly reduces the ability to react to it.
