I’m sorry but it’s hard to pull off hacks when people can hear you from behind I mean what kind of stealth person do you know would just jump out and say “hey I’m right behind you”
She’s already a fairly meta pick; I don’t think she needs buffs at the moment without making her ridiculous.

Imagine if nothing could stop a .8 second hack that disables a hero for 6 seconds. Just sit and think about it for a second

She has a low win rate but you have to be able to counter play her. She is getting some minor buffs with regard to the armor changes. Her body shot dmg will be the same, but her headshot dmg is now significantly stronger.
On some enemies just try decloaking and shooting right in head like Zen. If it’s a lucio, you def wanna hack him first though, and then you have to land heads.

0.6s cast time, 6s silence for it. I got hacked through wall as zen yesterday. The only thing easier to pull off in this game is brig stun, and i don’t think we need to go any noob friendlier then that.
edit: i don’t think sombra is an easy character but hack is too op for the lack of risk and high reward that it gives. Besides that typos.

Hack needs to be interruptible otherwise it would be very unfair.
Hacked through a wall? She needs LOS for hack so I think you had some latency issue.
If that’s the case then everybody else’s ability should be interrupted when taking damage
Surely you’ve played the game long enough to know what is a latency issue, and what is game design, no?
Pro tip: Sombra needs unbroken LoS to hack. When hack completed on her machine, you weren’t behind the wall yet. It’s the same reason I constantly arrive at my translocator sleeping or stunned.
I get that, it doesn’t change the fact that it feels horrible to play against sombra. It’s a 6 second silence with a 0.whatever second cast time, that’s also inconsistent because of latency. That’s complete cancer.
I won’t even pick up an off tank player to my team unless they can play Sombra because of how vital she is at the moment for Sombra GOATS. All you’re saying here is that you don’t watch a whole lot of pro and semi-pro play.
what is this Sombra GOATS you speak of? I don’t watch any esports so this is the first I’ve heard of it.
Sombra GOATS is usually Rein/Zarya/Sombra/Brig/Ana/Lucio (the Sombra is played by the team’s off tank player, and Zarya is played by a DPS). It’s just a variant of GOATS comp that capitalizes on hacks and EMP.

No, she has to flank around. Assuming that the enemy is running a GOATS comp of their own (which is what Sombra GOATS is intended to counter), she won’t be able to hack anything from the front because the enemy Reinhardt has a shield. She goes around the back and looks for a hack on different targets depending on what Ultimates your team has available.
yes if you’re up against goats then she needs to flank, so it’s my normal playstyle just with a different comp
Yes, but her hack targets are usually either dependent on what your team is looking to do or potentially to allow your team to do different things (specific to GOATS). Hacking D.Va will allow your Zarya to get free Gravs. Hacking Reinhardt gives your own a free Shatter. Hacking Zarya will allow your Reinhardt to play aggressively into theirs and force them to back off. You can also go for a hack on their Lucio if you’re currently winning the fight in shield, health, or bubble management and want to push your advantage before they have a chance to speed away.
Also, and I said this earlier, the Sombra is usually played by the off tank player. The two DPS players will play Zarya and Brigitte respectively. This just allows for easier switching when necessary.
