We have though. Over and over again. The ‘official’ sombra player (fitzy) even made MULTIPLE posts about it.
Meanwhile they justify using Genji’s Q dash and insta-KOing a support as “SKILL!!!”.
I’d rather be hacked and waddle around being able to still heal than be instagibbed.

Uh, no. I main her and I’d much rather have a better hack. There are much better ways to get ult charge than being dependent on health packs.
Exchange was still a loss. Having ult available every minute (or even less) thanks to healthpacks farm were much more powerful than having hack in its first literation. Hack is nice and all, but Sombras true strength was in her EMP being available every fight, and now its gone.
Along with a hack.

Even as a sombra main, I have to say sombra having emp that fast was a bit overtuned. It was really fast.

Don’t give up hope with Sombra. Mercy is in a worse situation in terms of the team not being receptive to feedback and yet there’s still people continuing to battle with that until something is eventually done one day 
. Stay strong.
EDIT: I notice you say she’s balanced, nobody is disputing that really, but she has flaws. At least Sombra doesn’t have a megathread. Keep fighting.

They made the rest of her kit complete trash in return.
She was nothing but an EMP bot. Hack health packs and press Q. That used to be the Sombra gameplay experience.
I gave up hope when they nerfed Sombra after like, a week. All that shows to me is that they don’t want Sombra in a better place and they don’t appear to be listening to feedback from Sombra players at all.
I’m still hoping that they introduce ult charge from successfully hacking players in some way.

the only way sombra will get her pick rate out of the gutter is significantly lowering her skill floor AND lowering her need for teammate interaction.
Translation she needs to be redesigned from the ground up
No her base design is fine. If she is balanced properly she still wont be a great go to pick for the vast majority of the community, but she would be really strong in higher tiers of play, similar to heroes like Widow or Tracer. But as she is, she isnt even used in higher tiers.
a hero shouldnt just be “viable” in top 10 percent play that is bunk. Currently sombra has the worst win rate sub diamond. At diamond I believe she is second to last to Ana last I checked and she was only better by a like half a percent…
Sombra is basically the anti thesis of pharah. Pure garbage in low elo and amazing in top play. Pharah is a God sub plat and not necessarily garbage in GM but certainly not one of the better picks.
At least torb and sym have their definitive place in lower elo on 2 cp. Sure they have issues in higher play but statistics dont lie. For the majority of the ladder sombra is a basically a troll pick and we cant use the excuse well she is new cause she aint. She is 18 months old and is still f tier for the majority of the ladder.
That is inexcusable and flat out shows she is fundamentally a flawed hero.
