I am your average QP support main, who - until recently felt, like I am doing quite good.
Reality: I can only play Moira against this new Sombra. With this new anti - support season, it´s even worse.
How am I suppose to handle her, when she is on me 24/7? Hack, virus, shoot. That virus thing is very strong against squishy characters…

You’re not wrong, but I bite my lip because of one terrible truth - Sombras make Widows swap off. Necessary evil and all that.

Most of the time Sombra can’t do much if you stick next to your other support. Also, pray your team helps you out. If they don’t, you’re screwed.

Oh wow look at this, yet ANOTHER post highlighting problems with Sombra. Seriously when will the devs wake up and realize she is a cancer to the longevity of Overwatch.

They have data on player numbers and retention. Clearly there wasn’t a big enough drop off after her rework for them to care about it.
She’s annoying, but so are a lot of other characters. At this point, every character is annoying in some way to someone else. Widow main here btw. Hate Sombra, but she’s necessary to keep Widow in check.

I can easily escape or deal with those two with mobility/sleep/whatever ability I got. Sombra disables everything from you + throws virus and shoots you…so you either react superfast before she hacks you, or you have like split second when hacks wars of to TRY to escape. I go Moira, cause she has escape and giant healing orb at hand.
You can hear her while Tracer and Genji are far more mobile and hard to hit. I go Moira for Genji. Sombre doesn’t cause me any problems.

I can hear her when she is already hacking me, while Tracer and Genji are pretty loud.
Kiriko is a great choice.

I think it is her hitbox combined with bigger hurtboxes. And all of her cooldowns.
If they want her to be this bodyguard to Ana or Zenyatta she needs to be tanker. Her ult is designed for being in front so… 
Yes, but she can’t kill Sombra before she runs away and you are left with barely any health left. Both inspire andor/ selfhealing is taking to long to kick in. So basically you are ready for the spawn room!

You just gotta babysit her. Sombra isn’t difficult to deal with, but she’s very annoying. I have no idea why they felt the need to make stealth an ability instead of a skill. She’s a fun vacuum, and the only people who get enjoyment out of playing her are people who get enjoyment out of being a detriment to everyone else’s fun. Even worse than Widow players.

If I have dps or other support to help, it´s not a problem. I always help my other support. But so many times people don´t even care about your existence, until they need healing and you are dead -_-
And than you get blamed.

Play closer to your team, peel her off onto one of your DPS. They’ll turn around.
They didn’t do anything, that’s the problem. She needs a bigger HP shield to deal with the bigger hit box or a shorter CD on bash. but its hard to play Brig this season because there is so much ranged damage spam plus Tracer is good vs Brig as she gets a free kill on Brig every time she has an ult and Tracers ult is up constantly and since Brigs dmg is lower compared to HP bars and she lost her stun, flakers aren’t really afraid of her any more. Moira is better in most circumstances unless your dps is always out of range.
