Sombra POTG hacking highlight intro

Hello there,

I’ve come across a bug that is very annoying to me as Sombra enjoyer. Because I of course equipted the hacking highlight intro when playing Sombra but as soon as I get POTG something strange happens. I will explain.

In Overwatch 1 it was like this:

  1. Person is shown with POTG (other player)
  2. Sombra hacks that other person’s POTG
  3. Sombra’s POTG is shown.

In Overwatch 2 it is like this:

  1. Person is shown with POTG (other player) for short time
  2. Sombra hack intro starts-
  3. Sombra hack gets interrupted by other person again but it still shows my name (the name of the Sombra player that hacked the other POTG)
  4. Sombra’s POTG is shown.

It is very confusing and lacks the appeal it once had. Please fix this issue because it was by far the best highlight intro out there.

Same here. And it happens every single time. I had several PotG as Sombra now (Sombra main) and it always behaves exactly as youve reported.

Yes, it it very unsatisfying. I hope they will fix this soon because I can’t find a way to report a ticket with a problem like this. So, I guess it is just hoping they will see this some day.

This bug really takes away some important in-game experience for me.

As a sombra main i completely agree it was so good before the bug so i hope it gets fixed soon

YEah I’ve had this problem too.

For me it shows her hacking first then it becomes someone else. At first I thought it was a revamped hack highlight where she hacks pretending to be someone else (Shang Tsung style)

But recently she did it and then there was NOBODY there

Same, so disappointing to see it’s bugged. I had no plans of ever unequipping that HI and yet here I am changing it until it gets fixed!
