Sombra needs a mobility nerf

She already gets perma stealth with insane speed, and on top of that the CD of translocate is basically nothing. She can use it multiple times during a teamfight to ping pong around the battlefield or get verticality. Its literally better than Tracers Recall in every way. For **** sake it has basically the same CD as Hanzos 5 foot leap! Probably the single worst ability in the game.

The entire point is that she has great escape and target access as compensation for having zero staying power in combat and mediocre damage.

It’s the translocator cooldown that needs to go up. Sombra can outrun Winston, which just ain’t right since it’s his job to deal with characters like that.

Smash bros trip mechanic.

Flankers have always been able to outrun Winston, the point is that Winston can make their kill attempts almost useless while pumping constant damage into them.

Except its not an escape. If it was an escape, the CD would be much larger. I see more uses of Translocate aggressively than i do as an escape, because why not? She gets to use it again in 5 seconds if she needs to escape.

I said that she has great escapes and target access. And that is fine because she is a low range squishy with zero staying power and mediocre damage that depends entirely on surprise factor against bad hero picks to get value beyond being a ult bot.

Yup. There is zero downside to using it the second anyone targets you, because you can be back in the fight and have it again within seconds. There is virtually no risk with Sombra.

Nah, Winston can definitely catch up to every other character because of his specific form of mobility. Sombra has the same mobility on a lower cooldown, lowest cooldown of any of the vertical leap abilities.

They should at least make it not cleanse her if they don’t raise the cooldown.

Tracer and Genji both can escape Winston rather easily, as they have extra mobility compared to Winston (3 blinks + recall, double jump + wall climb + dash). Sombra is actually rather easy to outdo in this sense because she will basically signal you where she will leave with ample time to follow up.

They can only situationally outrun Winston, just depends on the map and specific location. Sombr outruns anybody no matter what unless they kill her before she’s out of sight.

There is zero situations where a winston will dive a tracer with all 3 blinks and recall. Well, 1, i guess. If the winston team is camping the enemy spawn.

I keep facing sombras, they really try hard to make an impact, but they end up losing game after game, the one that gave me the ‘hardest time’ ended with a 12-12 score. It’s a complicated hero and you just want the hero to be much harder to make impact that it already is for players of all skills.

She has mobility because she doesn’t have a lot of mid-fight staying power.

Unless you want to give her that (which I doubt you do), this would be an awful suggestion.

It doesn’t give her health back. So I guess it’s not better in every way.

Health doesnt matter when i know where she will be and can instant headshot her. Invisibility+Speed > tracers minor health recovery.

That sounds like a major skill issue on the tracer’s part.

You don’t get to decide where the goal posts are when you say that “translocator is better than Recall in every way”.

Just say you’re bad. This is a bad suggestion that would dumpster her. And if that’s your goal, be honest about it.

no? As long as you have an ounce of situational awareness you would know where she was 3 seconds prior, so baring her being out of LOS its entirely dependent on the ability of her opponent to line up a shot.

She still has blink, one of the best mobility skills in the entire game

If you get too greedy for the kill, if you miss her hack into virus combo, and if you pick the wrong target you will need her mobility to disengage.
