I Agree, Cant go upsetting the casuals now.
Sombra is losing basically anything she can have to bring value and this will have massive consequences.
Expect Widow and hyper mobility to reign supreme even more.

wonder what they would do if her representation plummets. who knows tho, ill have to see what happens but i get the feeling this is too drastic

I mean…they couldn’t have just given her a specific noise to her steps? Just to alert players she is nearby, instead of making stealth totally useless?

Always thought they could have added some kind of breathing or light taps for her to encourage people to check surroundings more.

I dont get why sombra is such an issue. she is the most skill issue hero in game. oh enemy team has a sombra? better group up, keep an eye on teammates. Maybe swap to torb or something that can interrupt her hack, or someone that isnt as impedimented by being hacked for all of 1.5 seconds. Man that’s really difficult. I guess i’d rather just whine and complain instead.

It’s cause so many people are so focused in their shooting they never notice that little thing called a “health bar” depleting, and just blame it on “no-skill Sombra casuals.”
I tip my hat to them, at least now can go back to Widow and make them cry about something else,

Removal of 2nd tank means she can spam hack on the single tank. Hack nerfed.
Nerfing of defense DPS while DPS playerbase refused to pick them anyways means that Sombra is annoying to deal with if all DPS players play is Ashe/Widow/Sojourn/Tracer.
Nerfing of anti-flanker supports, so your average Ana/Zen/Mercy main complained while Moira/Brig are unable to perform.

oh I guess this is why her win rate is so bad. Sombras spending time hacking unkillable tanks.
Not sure what you mean by that last part, but the rest still just sounds like a skill issue from the playerbase. Refusal to swap or play with/as a team and you’re being punished by a character whose sole job is to harass people alone or out of position.

She’ll be even more unplayable in anything except metal, but plastic Supports are going to throw a fit over hacking from stealth and 20% damage boost from Opportunist.
She’s literally just gonna be worse in every way, except kill bad players even faster. It’s easily the worst rework yet, and completely missed the entire point of both playing her, and what people complain about(ehh, actually they complain about literally everything in her kit).

i think it depends on her translocator time
i mean if you think about it, if it was the same as now she can be in an infinite stealth loop but if its like 10 seconds then she has 5 seconds out of stealth after she throws it which you would have to be very careful since you cant escape lol
Sombra went from a disruptor DPS in OW1 to a squishy farmer in OW2.
A lot of support heroes specially are at a big disadvantage against Sombra, and the alternatives that do well against her are underwhelming and overnerfed (Brig and Moira).
Well yes, in part.
But when ever DPS meant to keep Sombra in check is kinda poop right now and hitscan snipers are the enforced meta, its not surprise people dont want to swap off the Widow/Ashe for a Torb/Mei to deal with Sombra.
Sombra should not be able to hack turrets from stealth. And heroes like Mei and Sym should have their dozen nerfs reverted.
