1% pickrate and 42% winrate, this is probably the worst state we have ever seen a hero in. Sombra NEEDS buffs!

Not every character has to have a high pickrate, itās ok for some characters to be niche.
Sombra can totally wreck certain comps, she is still great.

42% win rate means she isnāt niche.
Niche is Sym, low pick rate, but high win rate in that niche.
Sombra is just bad, she doesnāt have a niche to do well in.
And before people start with, you need to co-ord, then if that was the case, she would do well on in gm, which she doesnt.
Or that she needs just is a high skill hero, the other high skill heros have much better win ratesā¦ Etc
Or she was in OWL, she had a low win rate there too.
You could say she is annoying to play against and that she is cancer, but she is under powered cancer.
Is that all the usual arguments? I think it is.
She needs a rework, and huge buffs as part of that rework.

No Sombra fills a niche. She is good in coordinated comps. A.K.A. not ranked.

If they need to tourney ban her, they should. But it is utterly absurd for them to leave a hero in a state where an individual canāt do well on them no matter how good they get on ladder.

She has a low pick rate AND a low win rate. This isnāt niche anymore. This is āIām barely picked, and when I am, I loseā. And itās been this way for years now.

I agree, but the problem is that her kit is filled with silence of the most frustrating form, can be abused in pro scene and doesnāt scale well with ladder skill curve.
She needs harsher adjustments.

pickrate of sym and torb arenāt that low to say they are niche heroes. They really arenāt that much anymore.
Well did have a niche she was good at.

I feel like the fact that her ult is so good means there are plenty of times where she is still a good pick.
I can admit I personally wouldnāt be able to stand Sombra being a consistently strong pick.
During the past week OverBuff had an issue with the player register in their database, and some heroes got crazy stats because of that for the past week.
We need to wait at least 3-4 days for the stats stabilize again.
That been said i do agree Sombra in a bad place.

Her ult is already getting nerfed 3x. And it isnāt the best in the game by miles either. Grav is arguably better. It might not have as high of a max, but it is much more consistent.

Sombra is ok in her nicheā¦222 is not her niche thoughā¦she never needed the nerfsā¦the switch to 222 alone affects her negatively
However the gravity of the nerfs is vastly over exaggerated

I donāt think Grav is very good right now because of Orisaās barrier. That radius nerf games ago made it hard to Grav into barriers.
They are very low, lower than Sombraās in all ranks apart from bronze and silver.
And Sombraās EMP during dive was only in the 50 percent range.
Different comps have different values for the ults. There arenāt ults good no matter what. But grav has had more consistently good results than EMP.
EMP is a close second imo.
Maybe its time for them to push a less team reliant character set of tweaks especially after the triple nerf.

Seriously though, she does kinda. I think if we avoid buffing EMP and Hack people would be okay with it.
