if you had followed the changes from OW1 to OW2 then you would know the ability disable part only lasts a second now

oh, so basically they have killed sombra without removing her from the game…
Genius Blizzard…making sure dps useless to counter overpowered tank…

Sombra is very powerful now in the right hands. There are games where even I have out damaged every other DPS hero while playing her more or less the same as I did before the changes. I think this is always how she was intended to be played, but the gameplay loop of OW1 I think would have just made her insanely overpowered if they had implimented here as she is now.

maybe read all changes first…Like dude, most of these have been available since April. Like how do you go into OW2 and not read up on all the changes and then complain about seemingly an entire hero change…

Machine Pistol

  • Damage reduced from 8 to 7
  • Spread reduced by 10%

Hack

  • Cooldown reduced from 8 to 4 seconds
  • Cooldown is no longer reduced when hacking health packs
  • Cast time increased from 0.65 to 0.85 seconds
  • Health pack hack duration reduced from 60 to 30 seconds
  • Ability lock duration reduced from 5 to 1 second
  • Reveals hacked enemies through walls to Sombra’s team for 8 seconds
  • Interrupting Hack during the channel time now incurs the full cooldown
  • Stun duration on Bob reduced from 5 to 2 seconds
  • Now destroys Baptiste’s Immortality Field when it is hacked

Stealth

  • Fade-in time reduced by 50%
  • Enemy detection radius increased from 2 to 4 meters
  • Can now use Hack during Stealth without ending the Stealth ability, but is revealed to enemies while hacking and for 0.75 seconds after hacking

Opportunist

  • Damage dealt to hacked targets is now increased by 40%

EMP

  • In addition to hacking them, now also deals 40% of current health as damage to enemies
  • No longer deals additional damage to base shield health pools
    • EMP still deals massive damage to barriers

True, I do not read these…
I tought we were supposed to play instead of keep reading all the time about what Blizzard adjusting and trying to memorise it for like a week than they change it again…

Think of heros as compex tools or pieces of machienery. How do you expect to know how to use them without first reading the instructions?

There are lots of heroes to read about it and they keep changing their properties like on a weekly basis…
Clearly Blizzard should write a book instead of trying to improve their garbage by keep making it worse with every update…

Me personally, I dont play every hero reguarly. The only heros I keep track of changes about are Zenyatta and Sombra, because those are the heros I prefer to play. Everything else I do indeed just go by feel or the odd video I may watch.

The ability lockout duration has since been buffed to 1.75s. It’s a pretty big window to get an assassination with the damage boost before the enemy can use their defensive abilities.
