And yeah, I actually play sombra, and I partly agree that she need nerf to her virus dmg output or in some way. This is the problem:
Sombra murder everyone without self sustain or just going alone, shes OP about that, no question about it.
But devs cant nerf her because little heal can ruin her efficiency. Right now, she is gate kept by Kiriko, Moira, Bapt while she absolutely murder mercy, zen , lucio
Right now , she is like noob stomper like reaper, she thrive in a team without proper game sense and absolutely useless against a team with brain cell

I just want her ult’s ability lockout time nerfed slightly on tanks. Unbalanced games makes tank’s life difficult as it is. Sombra’s ultimate taking away tanks ability for 3 second makes tanking feel worse in unbalanced games. But besides that, I don’t have that much issue with sombra.
Virus needs to be toned down and I’ll keep asking for hack to be reworked because in no way shape or form should there be THAT free of a counter ability against ability based heroes.
“Oh they are playing ball / doom, welp lemme go sombra, sit invis in my own team’s backline and hold right click waiting for them to go in for the kill” that’s just idiotic. It’s boring gameplay, the counterplay around it is non existent, and it’s just a cheese hero.
tbh it doesn’t really matter, you couldn’t change her in any way that would make everyone happy. The extreme haters just want her deleted, or want her to have no invis, no hack, no translocator and want her to switch weapons with baby d.va.
I think they’ll leave her alone for a season or two, but I strongly suspect that the EMP buff wasn’t enough to get her to a healthy WR, so she’ll likely get another buff next.
Real talk: her damage still isn’t that scary. She is a 1v1 specialist who is favored in 1v1s against maybe half the cast, falls apart if her target receives ANY peel, and is countered by basic awareness or a set of headphones.
Legitimately I think the only people who relentlessly whine about Sombra are bad players who solo push on cooldown, and Widow mains.
Sombra is not op. If they need to shuffle her power around to open more windows to play around her they can do that. But her powerlevel is just right.
All of this is true, but swapping her SMG for bunny blaster would send her dps UP not down. That pistol is deadly in the right hands. So then they would wine a lot more lol
I always giggle when sombra does this to me. It’s brilliant. But I will usually get my mech another 2 seconds later anyways (dingdingding lasering the headshots).
She’s just not fun to play against. I was on Ana. She killed me only 2 times and I had the same number of eliminations as her, but I was just so annoyed. I think it’s because you can’t fight back with her combo. You just die. I don’t think she’s any good though. I probably killed that Sombra 4 times. After that, she went after my DPS and other support, and I just healed them.
Not at all. Most characters have stronger burst damage to make 2v1s far more likely.
Nice straw man. Not what I said, I said she was incapable of getting a kill in a 2v1, not that Sombra was guaranteed a kill unless it was a 2v1. She’s only favored in the 1v1 against like half the cast, and dueling is supposed to be her thing.
