The question is full name. I’d quite like it to be Joel Mercer. Named after Matt Mercer and also it keeps the same JM initials which could be used to explain why he picked Jesse McCree as a psuedonym
well he himself says his name isnt Joel though…i like the Mercer part though…though thats technically using an employee name
And then what if something goes wrong with mercer they’re gonna have to change his name again… The name change is pointless nobody is gonna address mccree with his new name

Pretty sure the last thing they want to do is rename him after a real person again
That’s different though, OW2 will basically be the same as OW1 I doubt people will adjust to his new name
I’m pretty sure Sombra will have something to do with this new name reveal and I’m kind of excited lol I mean, we don’t really have any interesting content since months and I think this will add some interesting lore to the hero.
Well, I think McCree just knows a bit about Sombra and tries to fool her, BUT that would be a nice hook for a different name.
