I’ll be half a step around a corner and can still get hacked, it’s just too fast… she makes supports near useless, among most other characters. Her hack is a nightmare.

You will get used to it. The next hero is going to be meta changing so maybe her hack has to be like that for now.

Its been always like this, its just that people decide to use her now more than ever before
It’s the fact that it takes no time at all to hack now.
it takes less than 1 dmg to stop a hack, people arent used to look out for Sombra, now you gotta know she will appear behind you which makes player awareness more important than ever before

I know one things for sure, I’m not stepping into Competitive next season until I figure out a sure answer to how I can best contribute as a tank main on how to stop Sombra. Right now I’m completely perplexed. I know there are solutions, but all of them (as a tank), seem extremely limited.
I could definitely use advice if anyone as some to spare. (and I mean real advice, you are talking to a day 1 tank main since launch)
Mercy wasn’t good 1v1 before Sombra was buff
Ana wasn’t good neither.
Moria it was a hit or miss, since she has life steal.
Lucio just wall ride away.
Zen was the only support that can mechanically beat her in a 1v1
All is mechanically skill dependent as I took out Sombra before because I had better aim with all support and vice versa.
couldn’t say it any better than this. Something majority of the player lack… player awareness .
