Ban half of the dps hero and don’t ban more than one tank/one healer
Go back to the old system without 222 at least for the half of the season

One of the worst ideas i’ve seen so far.
They wont get rid of 222 either.
A reasonable fix would be, that they’d add more healers & tanks. Not ban half of the roster, just cause you say so.

So we can only hope OW 2 will remedy this, meanwhile we gotta deal with this problem for at least a year.
Honestly I hated it when they combined defense and attack classes into 1, and dropped Sym into it as well, leaving dps for content draught for years for tank and sup to catch up first. Please take Sym back to supp, and move Mei and Fist to tank class, everyone will be more happy that way.
Force everyone to pick 2 roles to be able to queue up, easy. Comp only.
Queue times aint end of the world.
Plus we have been getting solutions like while you wait & such, use them.
And, if you want faster queue times, queue another role than dps or all 3 of 'em.
Yet complaining about it wont make them work for other solutions faster when they have more important things what they should work on & are working on right now.

I like while you wait feature, I just don’t like it when new dps heroes is a at the bottom of the priority list
Who said that they’re ‘‘bOttoM’’ of the priority list? What kind of forum logic is this?
Just like I said earlier, have patience.
Doesn’t everyone only ask for new tank or healer heroes till they catch up with the “massive” dps roster?
And when you look at the most recent release, it s sup sup tank dps sup tank. And Echo seems like another sup as well
Pretty much, i’ve only seen rare cases where the vocal minority asks more dps or how recent heroes (dps) should be reworked into tank/support which I find pretty nonesense myself.
But imo they should wait till/after ow2 before adding more dps into the game.

I don’t disagree with you that we need a more balance roster, it s just dps players feel cheated because the dev dumped a whole bunch of stuff we never ask for on us. Dps roster look massive in number, but half of it was niche and binary stuffs from the old days that we rarely use while tank and sup categories enjoy the new shiny hybrid toys.
Not sure why you put massive in quotes there. It is massive and we do need more tanks and supports over more dps.
We will get more dps, probably the hero after this one.

During the 7-10 minutes you need wait for your competitive match start as DPS. Practice range to warm up for the love of the god
Myself i dont mind wait these minutes they even serve me to reduce stress between matches and practice my mechanical skills
I don’t want to practice between every match i want to play
10-15 min of wait between each match is just ridiculous, sometimes its even longer than the match itself
On PC my waiting timers 5 pm to 1 AM are 5-7 minutes. Ow is dead on XBOX… The only playable version of OW on console is ps4
If they combined “Tank” and “Support” into 1 role you will have a “massive” category too, but they are all played differently ain’t they? Same for the current “dps” roster, it sounds massive but so different that they shouldn’t even be put into 1 single category.
