when is this being added? i want to play that type of comp, not an absurd plat 5 to diamond 4 :confused:

So kinda sorta but not really Season 10. That’s when they introduce wide vs narrow groups. And they’ve said that solos won’t be matched with wide groups. We’ll see.

Actually it’s only going to be worse for solo queue. Unless they ban 4 stacks, you will still need solos to fill stacks, and plat 5- diam 4 matches are going to be silver 5- gm 5.

It’s the only way it can work the way they promised. If they don’t do this then we’ve basically been lied to again.

We have to wait and see if they keep their word or not.

The reason why I don’t believe because 4 stacks exist. How is a solo queue player like myself avoiding this garbage

just finished a gold 4 - diamond 5 match, sick of this.

2 hours later, gold 2 - diamond 1 : canceled, lmao.

I’m pretty sure that’s not gonna happend but I’ll be glad to be wrong.
Even then, it’s not going to solve the issue about a duo or trio wide range group who can, and will, pull solos in their games. Unless they also deliberately prevent it from happening which I find it hard to believe, because queue times.
I just expect the next season to be a nightmare for solos willing to play decently balanced games, but I hope I’m wrong…

This one is easy though. Only match duos with trios and vice versa.

The game really does need a solo only queue. All stacking is whoever has the most smurfs wins.

that feeling when you are playing solo and see that your other 4 allies have the same names and same avatars. You know you are going to be mass reported before the game starts

Overwatch really needs a competitive mode where everyone is solo queue. Now the group players always beat the solo players.

There is no fairness to solo players.

let solo queue decide if they are ok with filling up 4stacks, with the benefit of shorter queue times and potentially good communication.
