Putting a decent heals ability on a longer CD than a literal “no” button that cleanses, heals and acts as an immo is genuinely insane

Okay. He still kills people fairly easily. His healing isn’t what makes him good. It’s just lowering sustain, which is fine.

Yeh he does but It’s still a dumb change when you compare it to suzu and kiriko’s ability to also kill people fairly easily.
I’m not against the CD change I’m just pointing out the delusional balancing of the devs.

Kiriko is a healer. Soldier 76 is a DPS. It’s not the same role, and the skills have different purpose, so I don’t understand the point of comparing them. It’s apples and oranges.

It’s not? there’s so many heroes that can burst through it and or one tap you or combo you to death…
bruh please don’t tell me you think suzu and biotic field have the same usefulness in a duel 
There’s a reason why they’re hard forcing dive next season and that reason is most of the top supports legit just outclass dps heroes like tracer in the 1v1 duel now thanks to their damage and abilities.
In a duel kiriko HAS to headshot you twice soldier just has to shoot you 4 times and helix your feet.

OH MY GOD LANDING HEADSHOTS TWICE??? no one has ever done that in the history of ow it must be balanced because its hard for metal ranks to land!!!
I have an 80%+ winrate with kiriko on my main ripdpsdoom in gm and let me tell you its not hard to land headshots with those things.

Yep on a fairly small projectile with mediocre speed… Compared to 4 Hitscan shots and a fast moving projectile with aoe dmg

Nope not hard at all, 80%+ in gm playing this broken hero.
It becomes so easy to land in close range its genuinely crazy how you guys miss shots with this hero.

And a high pickrate in gm, why would gm players pick “weak” heroes? make that make sense…
I’d like to remind you that sym in gm in ow1 had a 65% winrate whilst having a low pickrate (weak hero objectively in gm). Tracer and cree aka the two top dog dps heroes in gm at the time had winrates near the 50% mark and high pickrates despite them both clearly being strong heroes.
It’s almost like winrates aren’t the be all and end all of balance wow!!!
Dps doom also had a 55-60% winrate despite clearly being weaker than both ow1 tracer and mccree, the winrate argument in gm is legit moronic.

Sym is picked in certain situations and maps. The devs themselves explained it.
Cassidy and Tracer are popular, obviously they’ll have an average winrate, cuz everybody is picking them, from all levels of playing.
Kiriko is popular and even if you consider her super easy, she’s not for the majority of the playerbase.
Soldier is strong and should get nerfed his healing numbers not his cd. Sym was nerfed for “high survivability” and got her shield/HP reduced. Soldier only have to wait three more seconds but she can’t do her job even being a medium range character.
Oh yeah, Sym received lots of nerfs from Ow1 to Ow1, and after that. Soldier got buffed and is practically the same with only 3 seconds on his healing(which can also heal teammates and survive a good amount of damage).
Comparing suzu and healstation is dumb full stop.
Kiriko and Soldier are not comparable heroes. Just taking elements of their kit and comparing CD’s makes no sense.

You literally brought up low winrates without understanding how pickrates and winrates work in higher elo lmao.
“soldier is strong and should get nerfed” and kiriko is also strong in said higher elos which is apparent by her pick rate (refer back to ow1 cree and tracer pickrates being high despite an average winrate!)
