I can’t decide if it’s soft throwing or dumb fest going on all of a sudden at bronze dps.
What happens is the dps keeps shooting the enemy tank only while they have heals, so literally end up with 0 kill after 2 rounds. No, I am not making it up, I have watched the replay, 'cos I was getting fed up after losing 5 games in a row as tank with gold kill with 5-6kills after 2 rounds.
So all these comments of, if you do good you will climb is nonsense, since it’s all about your teamates.
Stop making up terms to describe every single instance of frustration as a form of throwing
Youre going to need an excel spreadsheet with tabs to keep track of this nonsense before long
Throwing requires intent. Playing poorly is not throwing, sometimes people have bad games, and some people just aren’t good.

It’s literally bronze. People aren’t throwing, they’re just learning to play their characters. It’s literally what that tier of play is for.
If you can’t win games unless your teammates are above average, then you, yourself, are average or below (within your rank) and should not climb.
Stop looking at your medals (they don’t mean anything), stop blaming smurfs and throwers (or soft throwers? whatever the hell that means), stop blaming your teammates, and work on your gameplay. Everyone is telling you that if you improve your gameplay, you will climb because it is true. You just haven’t improved it yet.
And if you’ve lost 5 games in a row–if you’ve lost 2 games in a row even–stop queing for new ones, bro. Take a break and get your head straight before entering into a new one.
I can take any of your games which you post to report possible aimbot/sr altering and prove you wrong.
But i would rather help you if you want to climb. You have to stop so carefully watch what are others doinf and start focusing yourself.

Level 42 genji with funny name, pocketed by mercy. Openly admits deranking claiming its not SR altering. Having 47% accuracy with genji while threw all his games with tracer.
47% accuracy accross 234kills looks like more an aimbot then good skills to me. And on top of that being pocketed as well…
Yet I am still being told by everyone that if i get better I will climb, as I am supposed to beat platinum, GM, top500 players who are also healed to be able to reach silver?
Of course you are not supposed to beat them. Just as i dont beat gm smurfs in my elo. But diamond + smurfs in your elo are not something you will see that often to make you not able to climb.

Midget is not completely wrong. Bronze is flooded with Smurfs and deranks right now. Bronze may as well be called Gold for people who have mental issues and need to bully people. Gold and low plat accounts in bronze are so common it’s not funny. What’s worse is now they are doing it in duos. A DPS and a healer or healer and a tank. The lower tier elo system is completely void. As soon as you get to high bronze you get hit with a rash of them. I had 4 games in a row of leavers who were doing their quals. Throwers on DPS will use hard targets like tanks being healed or shields to keep their numbers from looking so terrible that they report themselves. Heal throwers will come in with another tank or DPS and only heal them. If in the off chance that you are able to carry through that, they simply leave. I understand that many of you have in seasons past gone down to bronze and pulled yourself back up. In the last two seasons, the issues with throwers and Smurfs have gotten significantly worse. Every now and again I will catch a legit game, but more often than not, it’s been one side steamrolling the other. I didn’t come here to get steamrolled or to steamroll the other team. I came here to have good fun competitive games. It’s simply not happening anymore.

Why dont you group up with them and climb something then?
That would be cheating and some of us have morals ethics and values.
So you all like to complain about smurfs ruining your games and preventing you from climbing, but you are refusing to group up with them. Thats I dont get.
And grouping up is not cheating.
If you’re on Tank, you really need to play Roadhog. Playing Team tanks is gonna screw you over until you hit about Gold, or unless you have a Group
Zarya is much better choice than Roadhog honestly.

Depends on the Healers, which is why I used Hog whenever possible to climb put of Silver. If Hog was already locked, I went Zarya, but then you have to trust healers who may not know what they’re doing

So instead of banning the sr altering smurfs, Silver/gold level players should beg them to group with them and carry them? Lot’s will they learn and still every game will be one sided.
The whole point of a game, hence there are tiers and SR introduced, is to have good balanced intense games regardless of winning or losing. That is fun.
Having one sided games 95%+ of the times is not fun.
Imagine playing Mario without being able to get hurt or fall off the map. You can just keep pressing the forward button until you get to the end of the map, no fun.
So the ones who’s only fun is to ruin the tiers not to allow balanced games should be banned, not the honest players punished when they lose their patience and get silenced.
Honestly, I think there just aren’t that many bronze players left. They posted the numbers recently and bronze is considerably smaller than silver/gold/plat. A good chunk of these games you’re in might just be a result of the matchmaking system not having enough bronze players to put in your games.
And having someone two tiers above you on your team should not feel like “playing mario without being able to get hurt or fall off the map”.
The higher tiers have been dealing with it forever. It’s not uncommon for diamond players to end up in GM games, or masters players to end up in top 500 games.
Blizzard isn’t abandoning you or rewarding these evil smurfs who’s life purpose is to ensure that you can’t climb. There just aren’t enough players in bronze for you to have consistent “balanced” games.

- Tanks are easier to hit.
- They can farm ults off of tanks with healer pockets faster (cause they hit more shots).
- It allows them to inflate their Damage Done Stats, as well as their Weapon Accuracy and Critical Hits.
- People in Bronze tend to Tilt Easily, which makes Voice Comms worthless in a majority of the match. Trying to tell them to kill a priority target is often taken as “You’re bad, play better,” so they’ll just ignore you or throw instead.
Just get out of Bronze if you want to get rid of it, but it happens at all low ranks (everything up to Plat, at least).
You’ll never end up with someone two tiers above you in a Bronze Match, unless that person is smurfing and just staying at a low rank. This pretty much never happens. This only really happens at higher ranks, when a Diamond may get pulled into a GM game, or something.

But I think the lack of Voice Comms in Bronze is a huge problem. If the other Bronze team is communicating, it is like they are smurfing. The game is different when you’re playign that way, vs. just winging it with half of your team trying to win 1v1s all over the map.
Additionally, talking too much in Bronze games often gets you flamed, even if you’re just calling targets, giving information on characters flanking, asking for heals when you’ve been riding a pillar for 15 seconds without any at 20 HP. “Maybe you should play more and talk less” is commonly heard in that rank. The players there are super casual. They aren’t competitive. Many of them don’t really care if they win or lose.
Often, trying to get these players to play better will tilt them and cause them to throw, or you’ll just end up with people yelling at each other on voice comms… So, you have to hope they get lucky kiills here and there, and try to carry them 90% of the time - while keeping your mouth shut.
That is because some people actually wan to climb on their own. No better feeling than knowing you actually improved and managed to do it all on your own. I see no point in boosting. No skill improvement whatsoever. When I was in bronze I got offered to get boosted by another player on my team when he realized that I was a girl. Pathetic. I climbed all on my own up to High Gold, even reaching Plat. No amount of boosting can replace the feeling of knowing you did it all on your own.
