So you ban 5 hit scans this week and so far every game I have seen has been Phamercies and really no way to deal with that. Sure you left Ashe in there but wtf are you people thinking. If you are ganna be stupid enough to ban all those heroes, then you really needed to at least take Mercy out of rotation for the week.

The interesting thing is that there are still options to pressure Pharah.

Winston can leap into the air and zap her for a portion of health.
Ashe still exists.
Hammond is a hitscan as well.
Roadhog can get some good work into here as well, but hook related.
Zarya is a beam and hitscan option meaning if Pharah gets low Zarya can zap her.
Moira can apply sustained damage into Pharha as well if playing low to the ground.
Torbjorn’s turret can apply pressure.
Zeny’s discord certainly helps.
Ana an apply some pressure if you had say double main support with Mercy/ana or ana/moira or something.

There are options still for a team to say we want stuff to deal with Pharah.

And all that pressure is meaningless when pharah has a mercy up her butt the whole time…

Ana and Ashe still exist.

They can still output hefty damage at a range, even if not a one-shot. Ashe can blow through Mercy’s healing easily enough, especially with headshots, and Sleep is just as crippling as ever.

Sorry you can’t just pick Mccree and decide the entire game’s flow.

Pick Ashe. Don’t like Ashe? Pick Hog and try to hook her. Pick Ana.

I think they’re more trying to get data on Ashe for whether the hitscans make her trash or if she legitimately needs buffs.

You have a point there. Regardless of counterpicks, it does seem like those two may be near manditory in certain situations.

I hope it doesn’t get as stale as I imagine it could be.

Don’t bother.

If you get in Silver just try to stay there. It’s the optimal ELO. You can have fun there and try a variety of things.
