His main systems or whatever were in his head I guess. Probably to mimic a human and the brain.

This is actually the fault of whoever did the camera angles in Alive. The camera zoomed quickly in on Mondatta’s head to indicate a headshot, however sparks are seen flying out of his chest. The comic also shows a chest wound, so he got shot in the chest.

This was from last year after Blizzcon.
