…fully knowing that it’s reportable for spam, tilts players, and is just downright annoying.
So why do you still say it at the end of matches?

its not reportable, and i say it when people run a cornball comp and still lose
Exclusively - because my team just got rolled into the ground. It’s hilarious how people explode without even looking which side posted it.
To taunt the person who I avoided from the previous match who was dragging down the rest of the team.
LOL, this thread is GG2EZ.
It is reportable. Everything is reportable. Existing is reportable.
That can be seen as antagonizing your team implying they were the ones at fault for your loss and not you.
Probably. But i just do it because I find it funny. Few things are easier than getting steamrolled, after all, so it’s not wrong either.
I dont say ggez, just gg
There is no need for the ez part, there is nothing positive about it
The report system is so abused, I’d say it’s better not to say anything at all if you don’t want to run the risk of being actioned. But then people can get around bans too with alt accounts anyway.
Nah. I don’t do it nearly enough to get banned. Those things wear off over time.
I don’t. I don’t type anything in chat except the rare callout when I notice I’m not getting feedback in voice. Otherwise pretty much everything else is reportable since everyone is so sensitive in this game. With this system, you’re guilty until you can potentially prove your innocence. Not the other way around.
I don’t even do callouts anymore because I’m so anxious about this toxic community.
It’s not. People just mass report and it hits the threshold required in the automated system to silence and / or ban people. a.k.a if you report someone for saying “ggez” you are abusing a flawed report system.
I thought that was the line that got overwritten into the autoreplies by Blizzard. Was that a different one?
Do you really think that matters? When someone gets Blizzard’s filtered messages everyone knows they still typed ‘ggez.’ Might as well just show ggez.
You can put it in 2 separate messages. EZ
I dont say it, but if i see someone who said it…then i ignore them, whats the point in complaining about 2 letters on the internet? There are definitely much worse things people could say…
“GG EZ” is unsportsmanlike conduct. Ask the players that posted a mega thread here about being MAD about their mute bans
There’s your answer.
Uhhh, what?
Thats bs and shouldnt be allowed
