He’s literally the only super mobile hero in the game that didn’t get the 225hp nerf and he has one of strongest defensive cooldowns in the game. What gives?

yeah he should’ve gotten 225 and then a damage buff to blade, reverting swing speed buff so the dps is about the same but the burst is higher

He can have 30, and he can have blade slowed down with damage buffed for burst as requested.
In return you will have 225 hp AND deflect will no longer be cancellable.

30 is the exact number needed to one shot head shot alt fire tracer in the head
30 also allows him to combo with dash and melee to cleanly kill tracer
He SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMBO TRACER…
I don’t like genji or his mains (same as doomfist and his mains… yall know what I mean) but tracer needed to die to as many combos as possible to finally stop being ridiculous and genji needs the hp nerfs for all that mobility. This pleases all sides.

Deflect will not cancel at all. Use it wisely, with all that skill and decision making and difficulty genji mains claim to have. Deflect being cancellable with an instant high speed movement damaging attack is utterly bogus game design. You can have some power but it’ll cost you your cheese.
I’ll be nice. You can hold the button for dash so that when deflect ends you can easily time it perfectly to minimize your down time. This is very generous of me.

Actually good suggestions. Makes him more predictable but if the Gengu has good mechanics he can thrive because he will also be a lot more lethal

i dont think the genji players would be able to cope. plus its probably not a great idea nerfing him right now with everyone complaining about widow being so uncontested now that sombra is neutered. cause as much potential as trace has, she cannot get to widow on high ground as quickly and safely as genji.

Venture is a very close-up hero with literally 0 long distance poke. Makes sense that they didn’t get the 225.

They give the char any sort of damage focused compensation, you kill a decent chunk of your support playerbase
