Baptiste might arguably be the best dps in the entire game, and on top of that has 2 of the best abilities, a great passive, and can heal for a ton. Why?

Never because unfortunately the masses (really loud and bad support players) will just moan and groan whenever their support heroes get nerfed while they continue to run the game year after year.
So get used to it.

What’s Zen’s one shot? Do you mean his charged volley? Because you can just move out of the volley while being shot, and you won’t get oneshot by it. Which is why its not a one shot.
Never once did I consider you actually hated headshots. I have no idea why.
You mean you have to be strafing already and hope the Zen shifts their crosshairs in panicm

To be absolutely fair, you should be strafing like that anyway unless Zen 100% surprised you. There’s no point in the fight where you should just be standing around, even if you’re taking the point.

I agree he does, but atleast he needs to aim. Honestly I used to hate Bap because of lamp. Then with OW2 they added 2 more immortalities that had even less counterplay and effort to get value from and gigabuffed all the other supports so now when I see a Bap it’s a breath of fresh air. Atleast he can be killed easily because he is super easy to hit and his heals take some amount of effort to get off. His movement is easily telegraphed unlike alot of other supports and he has sustain damage which means you don’t instantly blow up.
Then ontop of all of this he doesn’t have any kind of debuff on yourself. All in all, taking into account all other supports he’s easily the least annoying.

No. Good for support but far from best dps if you consider actually damage characters. Lower dps than them and lack of damage abilities = much lower kill potential than your average Soldier, Cass, Ashe or whatever. Don’t get me wrong, you can absolutely die to Baptiste in 1v1 but it’s not because of his damage being op but because he can outsustain you.
Ever heard of Ana or Kiriko? Bap abilities are good but on lengthy cooldown. Lamp is also in most scenarios worse Suzu due to deploy time and lack of cleanse. Not only for anti-nade but also slows, freeze etc. Suzu would negate Blizzard, Terra Surge or Shatter while Lamp won’t. It’s longer cooldown and less impactful in most scenarios which is weird to me but oh well.
Every support has it, why wouldn’t he? Either they should have universal passive or don’t which is whole different discussion.
Like half of the support roster? Ana is better at single target healing, Moira is more consistent at AoE. He is in the middle between them and sometimes can shine if all stars align.
Bap needs revert of his instant 100 hp shift buff but that’s about it. And it’s lower priority than nerfing damn Ana who is in every game in both teams.
