Watch the part where the sword is stuck in the ground frame-by-frame. You can tell by the shadow that the hilt of the sword is as long as the blade its self. Rein has a similar build and look to Arthas. And why would they put two jets on either side of the blade when Frostmorne normally doesn’t have flames on it?
Rein has had a polearm on his skins before Wujing, Guan Yu, and Imperious.
Let me pull out my crystal ball here.

Oh rein having a polearm works…I get that….its frostmourne itself that I don’t think should be turned into a polearm….its an iconic sword…not a spear

Exactly what I thought.
So crack put theory here, but it might be an event mode teasing the next hero. As we had a Scottish broad sword user in the background lore for while now.
With the shadow just being wow giant shoulder armor thrown onto him.
Would be a cool way to tease them, and give us content ahead of time. That eventually becomes playable.

Oh, I thought you were talking about armour sets for WOW. But damn, that “Sun king” is great.
I definitely agree with that. But I guess it ruins the silhouette Rein has if they gave him a large sword.
one clarification: Sigma’s Rime skin is Arthas. or rather, the Arthas we see in the Warcraft III story campaign. I think we’ll simply see Reinhardt in full lich king armor.
it’s probably a celebration of the new WoW expansion. Diablo 4 recently had WoW themed skins. this could mean something like Roadhog Pandaren, or hanzo Elf, or sigma Malfurion. all theories released over the years for the various Overwatch heroes, basically.
but the truest theory in my opinion? that would be THE blizzcon skin they propose every year. but since blizzcon 2024 doesn’t exist… money, money, just like they did for the “celebration pack” with reinahrdt inspired by starcraft.
I’m pretty sure we won’t have any gamemode. instead, I would be extremely worried if THIS SKIN was the Overwatch announcement at Gamescom. I would be terribly angry about this, skins are NOT content.
it seems reinhardt in emoting " warming up". It wouldn’t be the first time they’ve adapted weapons to the design of Overwatch heroes.
This could also be confirmed by the presence of those rockets on the ends of the hilt, just like Reinhardt’s hammer.
I don’t think they would introduce the new hero of season 14 so far in advance and directly ingame. 
Hanzo already has Thalassian archer skins in HotS. Lot of OW heroes have WOW skins there. I want it here
