I haven’t really played much since Ventures release so how does Venture have 1 new skin in all that time? …and Juno has a Mythic and a collab skin.
I don’t even like Venture but still that really screams “we do skins purely for money”

I seriously have not played since last summer… hardly played at all in the 6 months before that and its kind of mind blowing that venture just got basically nothing.
Wondering if Venture has the Moira/Zarya problem where their skins are just going to suck in general most of the time so they don’t have a lot of options.

Well they actually got two skins, a Collab skin as toph from the last airbender and a battlepass skin
Still a pathetic showing but it is what it is.

They also got a pride skin (which is just a recolour) but that was only available for like a weekend, don’t know why that hasn’t been brought back yet.
omg I forgot about that… the airbender collab I didn’t pay any attention to but I remember that skin. That is better than nothing.

Venture has 4 skins now, with the Monarch, Ice Cream, Toph, and what is it, toxic?
They’re getting somewhere finally with the character, but it sure did take an obnoxiously long time

I think some characters must be harder to come up with good skins for.
Always look at what they do, not as what they say. In the case of a business that means = follow the money. In the case of OW = money are in skins.

To me, as an artist, it’s obvious they’ve backed themselves into a corner trying to make all of venture’s skins perfectly androgynous to be politically correct regarding their non-binary identity, which (as a queer person) is so wasteful because instead of trying to make all of their skins entirely gender neutral, they could be having fun and giving them skins that range from very masculine to very feminine!
Companies run by straight folks attempting to pander to LGBTQ audiences always make the same mistake of turning outside-the-box identities into a new, slightly different box instead of exploring all the different ways to design a non-binary character.
Little bit of a rant but I don’t think ventures design is nearly as hard to make aesthetically pleasing skins for as they seemingly think it is, when they’re actually just limiting the potential of the characters design for no reason.

It’s also only available as a Twitch reward, which is… mindboggling. I like the skin, but not that much.

This thank you. Venture being non binary actually works out in their favor since they can do anything in terms of design both masculine and feminine. It kinda shows how fake blizzard are because if they actually know about non binary people they would know they don’t all dress androgynous. A good portion plays around with their gender expression.
And the ridiculous reason people give to justify it says “people are going to get mad and cancel blizzard” or whatever is dumb. Blizzard is being lazy.

They absolutely know all this… they are in LA and they have a wide range of people working for them. They know.
Considering the game is ‘free’. Everything can’t be perfect for the players as much as people want it.
OW has made great strides I’d say from the OW2 launch in terms of making things more player friendly. There is still room for improvement, but them catering to the most popular heroes will happen in every single game under the stun.
Venture is still the most fun DPS to me despite having no skins I care for at all.

Venture did get a Masked Lover skin this season, and to me, thats a big deal 
Venture is more attractive than most of the cast to be perfectly honest. The only reason I refuse to play them is because I am mad that when I try to dig I die, but when they try to dig, they have iframes. It’s messed up.
