Agreed, I tried some skins and they have the standard sound effects. Kind of boring. Personally, I won’t buy anything. Himiko Toga had altered sound effects.

They do actually have custom sound!

Are skins in games overpriced? Yea. Is it a scam to pay for items you know you are going to get? No. That is not a scam.

If they put that much effort into all of the skins the prices would be insane (most likely ~$50 range per skin). Most skins that offered some form of ability changes sold for much higher than normal premium skins – even in Overwatch 1.
