Think I knew that when “OW2” came out, but didn’t pay attention to it. Now with all that talk about credits being awarderd again and that D2 Necromancer skin for Ramattra I thought that maybe I could get it. Go to hero gallery, click on his skin and the game is like: “Lol, no. Real cash only”.
So this means you literally can’t get any skins for OW2 characters that aren’t epic. Even his “wandering monk” skin is coins only. No wonder the only skins anyone uses for him are the battle pass and Twitch drops ones. Feels really bad when you look at any OW1 hero and see the 12 or so legendary skins they have to choose from, all for credits.
You know, I can deal with that, but if that’s the case, I have to once again ask: Why in the name of wrestling with Jeff doesn’t the game give you credits all the time? If you can’t even use credits for OW2 skins or battle pass, what’s the reason for giving so little? The “prestige” battle pass could be giving you some, this new progression could be giving you credits for levels on a character and/or role/mode and especially, playing a specific role could be giving you credits again. I would say it could be giving you 50 credits for playing tank or something (which was the case for me in OW1), given how there’s no lootboxes now and everything is more expensive, but even the 25 would be fine.
