Just curious. Have they changed? For quick play? For comp? Since the changes, are we now seeing people walk away from tank or support roles? Or is it largely like it was before?

I will say if you do flex que you seem to always get put into tank, even if support is listed as the bonus role. That said it’s hard to really say so early. Tons of people playing to test things out. Blizzard has also combined a lot of servers.
I get a lot of Asian players on the US servers, not to mention cross play with the consoles I believe as well.

Well, cross play is a very common occurrence for me. Has been for awhile.
Dps is very populated, around 4-5 minutes according to my game. Tank queue is instant. I guess not many are willing to tank right now lol.

I have it the other way around, usually get supp and sometimes tank (hold on let me play a bit, this data is few days old)
I will say I feel like a punching bag as tank now. Only tank that feels impactful is Rein lol. Maybe Zarya if you have the right support behind you. But in general it feels hard to get a kill as a Tank these days and your still hit by anti and the like all the time.
My queue times all say under 1 minute, but games have been taking 6-7 minutes to find since I refuse to play tank.

I think the times listed are bugged/need time to update.
But for me last night
DPS took ~3-8 mins
Support took ~1-3 mins
Tank took <1 min
That was QP, didnt do ranked, US servers

update, my ETA Q times are 1/2/2 minutes for each role in the correct order (competitive)
I did play flex, I did wait 5 minutes to get a DPS game tho, surprisingly, despite queuing flex, guess there’s not enough Bronze DPS players and needed me

definitely surprised my DPS ETA isn’t double the support ETA like it used to, though I did wait more than 3 minutes in flex queue before I got a DPS game… (after refreshing the ETA after 2 minutes it’s still 1/2/2 for me)
Still early. Give another day or two and we’ll see where things are shaking out.
