So, the devs read the forums, huh?

Aaron, Jeff, Kevin Hart, Ronald McDonald, whoever the Hell is reading this, please understand:

Tanks not feeling Tanky enough has nothing to do with health, it’s due to them having to be force fed a variety of starters, including dumbing down their characters, followed by an all-you-can-choke-on CC Buffet from Hell, topped off with counterwatch for desert.

Health has nothing to do with it, because slapping on a 200HP bandaid doesn’t magically make Discord, Anti-Heal, Hinder, Boop, Freeze, Burn, Bleed, Trap, Hack, etc, hurt any less.

We don’t want to be the main character in some Baptiste’s frag montage (he got 27 kills, 45 of them were me).

Having double Tanks, even if they go back down to OW1 health pools (please account for season 9 universal health buffs) would be enough, because having a second hyper-defensive frontliner would be enough to mitigate some of the CC, ENOUGH of the CC to make the game somewhat playable.

And also nerf Support and DPS stuff, because heal and damage creep isn’t exclusive to the Tank role, preferably revert ALL of season 9’s changes, delete global and role passives since certain characters get unfair buffs compared to others, and delete immortalities please, it’s the lowest form of mitigation and everyone hates them.

I don’t think any balancing or CC changes are going to make more people want to play tank. The thing that makes a tank a tank is the things they’re supposed to do, which are make space, control engagements, and peel for their team. None of those things are straightforward or normal for a FPS, so I don’t think there’s a situation where as many people will want to do that as other roles. The devs can’t control that, but they can make it so that fewer tanks are required per match, which they did

They don’t. Don’t believe them, it’s just placating.
The absolute most they would do is have some intern lightly skim it, bring up a few points at some board meeting on a piece of paper that they don’t even look at because they could not care less what the community thinks. Gets put through the paper shredder in 2 minutes.

why should they read a space that is always treated like a complaints office and that when a normal or positive opinion is created… it is immediately snubbed by the community of this forum itself?

rather I might note that there are far too many topics treated as a “tweet”: this is my opinion, and I don’t really care what those who comment on it will say. (I can actually accuse them continuously of not knowing how to read.)

Although I find the communication opportunity that the “Orange” (the developers) represented wasted… I still don’t blame them for how much the forum has degraded from its own community.

Nothing of what you mentioned is a direct issue because everything you mentioned has existed since day -300 alpha OW1.

CC, counterpicking, damage or whatever else you want to scapegoat for the abort of a format that is 5v5… none of that is the core issue.

Solo tanking is to blame for the ‘‘OP or UP still feels bad’’ state of tanking in OW. The game from its core was not build around solo tanking.

I think its time to accept that the tribalist nonsense is just not going to solve anything either. Supports and half the DPS role players didnt ask for 5v5 or tank nerfs in OW1.

DPS and supports are also the ones meant to enable and synergize with tanks. They are also part of your team. ‘‘Nerf this hero I dont play until they dont do anything against me!!!’’ is just a short sighted way to destroy the game.

what a weird list of people lol. your mind is crazy

yea only reason i am back now.

I was leaving the forums due to toxicity

but since they told they check the forums. i am back to mop the trolls out
