Symmetra’s ptr buff of maintaining her charge didn’t go through… but somehow making Soldier a far better long ranged lazer hero is okay?! What is this balance?

Soldier 76 doesn’t have a teleporter, 3 turrets and a shield.

Things Sym needs and another that was taken from her.

Yeah he just has sprint, heal station, headshot capability, and an autoaim ult.

on a 15s cooldown that he can easily be pushed out of/out damaged
so do 22 of the other 32 heroes?? symmetra has a damage ramping beam that can constantly be kept up just by shooting a shield, its practically an echo beam on left click. and thats not even counting the turrets also damaging people for her.
with tons of counterplay… that can be avoided by a literal wall… symmetra’s wall perhaps?
So Sym is the only hero allowed to be buffed? Sym is not the only hero in this game.
Soldier needed changes as much as Sym does.

Yet despite all of that if these changes go through he will immediately become a top pick while Sym stays in F tier.

Even if these changes did not go through Sym will still be in the same position she is.
These changes effect Soldier, not Sym.
symmetra is like sombra… theres no way to have them anywhere other than F tier without them being a completely broken must pick. theyre niche heroes. them being in f tier isnt a bad thing unlike someone like reinhardt being in f tier. the game will always have them and its honestly better that way.
Though in Sombra’s case she is A tier in OWL.
owl is not the same overwatch we play… everyone knows that

I know. It’s the hypocrisy of people acting like Syms buffs not going through, despite being far less extreme is fine while soldiers are perfect.
You can make this argument for every single hero.
*Weaker than top picks even in their supposed niche.
They’re just underpowered and people are ok with it because they dislike them. Sorry, balance doesn’t work like that.

Yeah, you’re right. Sym is more effective than Soldier. Has been ever since rework.
Well anything can happen. I agree we should not treat experimental changes as live or not based on the hero’s performance.
It is very possible Sym will get her buff while Soldier does not get his.
A prop player once said that soldier ults is so bad syms lock on beam was better and back then sym as whole was trash are you sure you want that for sym?
really bc i can think of plenty of heroes who arent f tier and arent must picks.
