So sick of the cryng about ana

I blame the devs for listening to this vocal minority of bad tanks that got ana nerfed to the sorry state she is in now. Her and brig got nerfed harder than any other hero in ow2 and ppl still trying to push for more. Same bad tanks crying. If the first 10 nerfs didnt make you a good tank the next 10 wont either but you keep going. please stop listening to these people. Make the game how it should be. If something really is a problem sure fix it… But we need more anti in this game. Wanna know why dmg players feel so bad right now? Wanna know why players say supports are op? Cus the dmg that dmg players do doesnt stick. All the dmg they do gets healed or defense matrix or sig sucked. Ana is the one shining beacon for dmg players where they can do damage and it sticks. It matters. If i did 15k dmg in ow1 id have 40-50 kills. in ow2 ill have like 30 at best.

Suzu / Immo / Lifegrip / pedal platform, sig barrier, rein barrier, zarya bubbles, defense matrix, almost every ult in the game, sigma suck, moira teleport, kiriko teleport, any other mobility ability in the game.

These are all individual or team counters to anti nade. Im sure there’s more than i named but that took me just 30 seconds to think of. Nade is a heavily nerfed ability that belongs to a single hero with one of or the highest cds in the game. Its a projectile too so theres time to react to it.

Why are ppl still crying about this ability? Are you such a bad tank you cant use a barrier or suck or defense matrix or hug a damn corner for 2 seconds? I get when youre bad you want to blame it on anything but yourself but find something new.

If nade gets nerfed one more time it wouldnt exist. Well if it doesnt exist can i get things i hate playing around removed from the game too? I want hog and junkrat combos removed. I want moiras dmg cut in half cus it is just holding a button with no aim. i want bastion to die in less than 8 shots when im playing ashe.

You ppl realize the only reason tanks are as strong as they are now is because of anti right? You remove anti every tank is going to become unkillable and supports will be dived every second. So you remove nade you better get ready for your own tank nerfs. Or you ppl can just stop crying and learn what a corner is? How about that?

Everyone just replies to the title and never reads the full post so i wont respond to anyone. Lets watch how many ppl make empty replies cus they didnt read this far. Also everything i said was a fact so i dont know wheres to argue anyways.

Yeah, there’s counters to anti.

But when there’s 2 Anas in literally every game, being restricted to playing those counters seems like a bit of an issue, no?

Ana has only had small nerfs and adjustments, and arguably benefitted more than many other supports with the addition of the support passive and the loss of a tank so she can throw anti offensively with much more frequency than she did in OW1.

Edit: Also, Ana isn’t in a sorry state at all. She’s strong and the most played character in the game. What you’re claiming is just blatantly false.

I’m trying to recall what exactly’s been changed about Ana and the list seems small.

They nerfed anti duration, but then reverted it completely.

They nerfed the healing burst on nade slightly.

They altered the effect of sleep dart on tanks.

And then they upped the CD on nade by 2 seconds.

3 things? All relatively small slaps on the wrist compared to what other supports have endured. Have I missed anything?

EDIT, UPDATED:
Anti was apparently not FULLY but partially reverted, Ana’s damage was lowered from 75 to 70, and the size of her projectile shots went from 0 to .1.

5 nerfs total. Still relatively light all things considered.

Her gun damage was nerfed from 75 to 70. But they also increased the projectile size for unscoped shots from 0 to .1.

The other small correction is this;

It wasn’t actually completely reverted. It was at 3 seconds. Nerfed to 4, then buffed back to 3.5 seconds.

She’s still too strong and prevalent though. I agree with your overall point.

Nade wasn’t a problem with self healing being needed and making it a decision of whether you save it for a GREAT anti or as a “fight back” with some extra fuel for when you get focused.

With the support passive that’s not needed anymore and therefore people spam it out of CD. Take a bit of the support passive power and Nade will be in check. But people seem to miss that out.

Oh no, I wasn’t trying to fault you at all. Tons of changes to the game over a long period of time, hard to keep them all straight.

People aren’t missing it. But you would only advocate touching support passive if you think the whole role needs nerfs (not saying one way or the other whether it does or doesn’t) since nerfing or changing that affects all supports vs the one major outlier (Ana).

Ok and I’ve been sick of the Ana hugbox that’s been going on for literal years… :skull:

Ana has always shaped the game imo and needed nerfing way back when she enabled almost every single meta in OW one. She counters everything even flying targets. Scope tik tik tik.

Those shields every one hated had that uptime because of one hero.

Lucio got hit harder tbh. He didn’t really take many direct nerfs, but every other support getting buffs while he wallows in the depths of irrelevancy doesn’t really feel good.

Lucio/ball/reaper and off tanks in general all fit in the i hate the 5v5 environment
