So Reaper is White( skin color/colour)

Yeah. White. As in bleached paper white. Either he had somekind of skin tight sleeves on or there were something seriously wrong with his skin.

He was still the same in blackwatch. So, it’s probably something around the time of fight with jack and the explosion.

Are you saying their parents are mexican or something, because I do not count that at all when it comes to whether you’re this nationality or that, but again its not canon that he is its fanon, there have been no official statements that he’s mexican just speculation, and than that speculation gets repeated so much people start to think its canon, and thus a new fanon has been born

Skin bleaching =/= racial categorization.

Michael Jackson is and always was a black man, for the record.

Being White is more than just skin color. Reaper is not White. He’s pale due to his … special condition.

And although we know that he is from Los Angeles, we don’t know for sure what ethnicity he derives from. Likely Mexican, but it could be from any other Latin American country.

And “Hispanic” is a term that is supposed to denote that it/they are from a Spanish speaking country; not the American meaning which narrows down to “Spanish speaking Brown person”. A Hispanic person could be of any race: A White from Spain or Argentina, a Black from Santo Domingo or Belize, a mixed person (ranging anywhere from mestizo to castizo) from Mexico or Columbia, to even American Indian tribes etc.

Nationality/heritage are two different things, yes.

Nationality wise, Sombra is Mexican but heritage wise I’d assume Reaper is Mexican also, or as Peter Griffin put it, “some kinda Spanish”

Moira is redhead irish girl. She was green like Gamora.

Can some of yall shut up and not be racist for like 5 minutes? reaper is a brown mexican man, get over it.

Reyes was born in LA which makes him an american. His skin color was a tan from the sun meaning he’s not black. Their is no trace of evidence for a mexican accent.
His skin is now pale due to being “dead”. This means his skin can’t absorb sunlight anymore.

Come in people. It’s not that difficult

Moira’s hand is now purpley and even more pale than her other skin. That affect from her experiments might be all over Reyes now.

All this arguing over whether he’s white or tan or Hispanic or whatever.

And everyone ignoring the blue chick over there.

Reaper is not White. He is Hispanic. He has a light complexion because of experimentation. He’s also…“dead”-ish.

When Michael Jackson became pale as a result of a skin condition and performed different procedure’s to deal with that, he was still an African-American.

In summary, the color of one’s skin doesn’t necessarily dictate their Race.

Latin Americans traditionally have Mexican heritage though. Their parents or their grandparents or just their ancestors in general.

her life absorbing hand is actually pale. So you can imagine the same kind of thing probably happened to reaper.

I thought for too long that Reaper is black, my friend who recently bought OW said what is black on Reaper and was shocked that i think that.

I examined closely and yes, Reaper isnt black and has nothing to do with Black race.

So the only two heroes which are black are Lucio and Doomfist.

Do Pharah and Ana count? They are egyptian after all

Not sure if egyptian counts as black, i was never into this racial thing so i cant say.

Also when we learn why Reaper is white lorewise, it will be the peak of the game’s lore. Watchpoint: Switzerland.

In reality though, Reaper is white because the concept art for him was made before the story.

Egyptians are North African, mostly Arabic.
