Well, the focus was probably more on the in-game store, but it has skins you can use in PvP, so yes.

Well for some reason they decided to revamp pvp without putting any of the actual effort it would require in. They could have easily just started releasing heroes/maps/events again and focus on giving us more features instead of taking them away, but the geniuses in management gave us this instead…and people are shocked pve got cancelled? Anyone paying attention knew they weren’t capable long ago.

but it wasn’t cancelled, it was just scaled down to better suit their resources

Hey bro, making brigs shield bigger and changing a few numbers is hard work lol. Something I can do by myself in the workshop within an hour took blizzard 3-4 months and they have the audacity to call it an overhaul/rework. Clearly there is only 1 guy working for the OW team at this point who is more focused on making skins for the shop than making actual content. I bet money the “hog and sombra rework” is gonna be a few number changes and then blizzard will sell 3-4 skins for the price of 60$ and come up with some BS title for the overhaul skins.

Scrapping talent trees and player progression is equivalent to cancellation as that was the only hype.

Did they tell their playerbase or the thousands of people who bought skins that the PVE would be glorified Archives missions? Or did they keep it a secret for a full year? Do your part, make sure that boot is spotless.

Keeping the cancellation quiet for two years whilst bigging it up in every little ‘update’ post/blog/tweet was more than a little sheisty.

Makes you wonder what else is coming ‘Soon’ :tm: (i.e. getting cancelled)

The state of PvP makes you wonder what they have been working on these past two years. (Probably all those daft project Bobby had them working on, only to scrap them after a single dev cycle.)

If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Kotick was actively trying to run team 4 into the ground.

Okay, so here is the real deal on getting them on “SCAMMING” us.

They originally sold us that heroes wouldn’t be behind ANY type of a “wall” and they did it. So they should be nailed on it for FRAUD.

Dropping PVE though, Its scummy, but not enough to get them on it.
