Heroes have ALWAYS gotten the static origin story slideshows. Not everyone gets an animated short because that would take wayyy too long.
I personally really like the art style and think it’s a smart way to do a quick overview of the heroes lore without just reading paragraphs

What do you mean now? They’ve always been the still images with narration. You’ve only proven that you don’t play or care about this game enough to know that.
Also…what about that makes them low quality?
All the Origin stories are like that. It’s nothing new.
