yes as you read in Topic i changed my mouse sense because it felt like too slow and Lacked mobility for sharp turns etc…
i changed it from 8 to 9 ( 400 dpi ) and my aim is pretty messed up now i play in Mid masters Ana/Widow/Hanzo/Cree i can’t do Flicks properly anymore what should i do get back to my Old sens ( Which i tried but my aim was still messed up ) or practice with my new one ???
If you’re going to stick to a new one, then keep playing until your arm adjust to its new muscle memory. Otherwise stick to your old sens. I have been lowering my sens until I found my perfect one which is 3.25 in-game and 1600 dpi. Had to do a lot of adjustment.
You could always get a larger mousepad.
My Mouse pad is already HUUUUGE so i don’t think that’s the problem
Sometimes the surface type of your mouse pad can make a difference. Believe it or not they are not all the same. I was surprised at how my aim changed by trying different pads. Just a slight change can help.
If you play on one sens for 200h and then all of a sudden switch the sensitivity, it’ll obviously take a couple of hours to get used to the new sens.
Just stick with it.
changing sens is generally not a good idea, BUT if you felt it was 2 low. changing it was a good idea
the catch ofc, is that your aim wont be as good for a while. ull have to play at the new sens for a bit until your muscle memory adapts
worse news, changing to a new sens then swapping back messes up your aim at the old sens too
so either way your going to have too play with worse aim for a bit
Have you considered buying a new gaming chair?
If you keep changing settings it’s just delaying your muscle memory from forming to the new sensitivity.
I used to have a really high sens setting because I was naive and thought that high sense meant better aim but I actually over-aimed more often than not so I drastically lowered it down. It felt horrible for ages, but I stuck with it and I eventually got used to it and it improved my aim overall.
while you are right, not everyone can play at the ultra low sens’s.
aslong as someone isnt playing at like 1600 dpi 10 ingame or other insane things like that
(withing the 50cm-20cm 360 range basically) they can play fine.
its more important to find a sens that feels good right away (not in the sense of hitting shots easier, but in moving) withing that range, then anything else
ive recently realized, ive only climbed when i played @ 800 dpi 6 or 6.5 then id swap to lower sens (800 4) when i had a bad day, then barely maintain the rest of the season
if i had just stayed at the sens i had in season 2 (800 6.82) my aim would be so godlike right now, i wouldnt know what to do with myself xD
It mainly depends on how you aim too, if you aim from the wrist, a higher sens will feel better to you, if you aim from the arm a lower sens is probably better for you. I’m hybrid, so I aim with wrist and arm at the same time, so I’m somewhere in-between and I play with 10/800 which is roughly 1 full rotation of my character on my mouse mat.
Changing the sensivity messes up your muscle memory. You already trained your reflexes on the old sensivity setting and you remained with these old reflexes.
The strategy is to chose one setting to sensivity and stick with it. Never change it.
Now chose your comfortable sensivity and stick with it. You have no option than just practice and practice until you built the right reflexes (muscle memory) for the new sensivity setting.
Thanks Guys for your Guides i will keep them in mind tho i have good hardware … mousemat and chair so the problem is just my muscle memory i will train and fix it . thanks again.
