So Moira Gets Shafted With Perks Again…

Custa really wanted to show her perks on that stream and was talking about some big changes she is getting but majority of it looked like a nothingburger and he failed to make any significant changes and give her a “transformative” perk again.

Her only good perk, longer Fade was moved to a major perk for whatever reason, meaning that you can only use it in the 2nd half of the match or late into the match. This was a terrible decision.

Ult perk is just useless, her Ult is not supposed to be used to only heal or deal damage but to do both at the same time. The effectiveness increase is also not that big to justify picking this.

Instant heal on orb is ok, but it gets nerfed from 50 to 30 which is a significant nerf!

Returning the orbs looked like a gimmick and is probably not worth picking on like 90% of the maps over the Fade one.

Overall, just some terrible decision here. I am not sure why was longer Fade moved to a major perk?? This makes zero sense when heroes like Ana get 40% movement boost on nano target + herself or when WB gets a parry as a minor perk. I am really confused what their goal was here. Seems like they are afraid to give her anything significant for some reason, disappointing.

I might be insane, but the reverse orb is freaking awesome. That’s value. This some pre-recession McDonald’s, bruh.

No, it isn’t. Every Moira player knows, or should know how to bounce her orbs and make the most use of it. That perk is just terrible and looked so clunky.

In a duel out in the open with no walls, I’d win. :triumph:

The reason: she’s easy to play and they don’t want her to become broken or obnoxious.

But I agree that there are other ways to achieve the same goal, but with better perks

lol that was the worst perk

Currently it’s her best minor perk with instant 50 healing on orb being the best major one. Her Fade perk increases her survivability significantly.

Sad it went to a major, but the boost it got sort of forces it. combines both the fade perks and you can cancel fade in it now if the increased duration isn’t good in a situation.

lol no its not. highter jumping is so much more viable

Know to or not, you aren’t always in a situation where that’s a viable oppurtunity. You kinda need walls and for people to be near them for the bouncing to be effective

Yea, will be nice to chuck it down main tagging 3 or 4 people then recall it and use all its juice. Moira should be gaining ult faster if she uses the perk right.

Yeah, the reverse orb sounds good on paper, but in reality- unless it gets an increase to the health capacity- it is honestly not that good. If anything, there should be a way to pause the orb honestly.

To be fair, everything about Moira is a nothingburger. For her perks to be pretty weak is perfectly reasonable to me, as she can never be permitted to be on the level of most other heroes with her current design.

If they could inject some skill into her gameplay, then perhaps there would be enough room in her power budget to make her more interesting.

It was the better of two pretty terrible options tbh.

Knowing how to bounce it doesnt mean you can accurately do it all the time or are always in the perfect position to do so. The orbs are notorious for boucing into space because you were 1 pixel off the correct spot.

Well, they had a perfect opportunity to do this with her perks. But they didn’t.

Longer fade sucked… but I agree. Combining the minor perks together and putting them in major ruined her. Her original perk system was great. If anything, they should have swapped out her contamination perk for destructors divide. They really need to revert this, or atleast put uprush and vanish back to minor perks. They are pivotal to alot of players gameplay

Perks in general are gimmicky and should never have been added

Deserved to be honest.
