She already is in OWL. They need to revert or rework her again. I don’t see either happening anytime soon.

As a Rein Main, I can safely say this.

I like having a mercy pocket me as the main target and then others come 2nd while a 2nd healer focuses more on the rest of the team first and Rein 2nd.

Too bad those 2 healers are Mercy and Moira. :confused: Ana is ok, but she has to be freaking good with those darts or I want a Brig dang it.

In this meta she pretty much is a must pick, not quite as much as when she had instant res, but she is still the best support to have 100% of the time.

Thing is though, Mercy isn’t OP and doesn’t need to be brought down. The other main healer picks are just unreliable (or in Moira’s case being made more unreliable) making her an easier more consistent option. It’s not an issue with Mercy it’s an issue with the support cast in general.

mercy isnt better because she can heal through barriers she is better because of rez every 30 seconds

I hope it was a mistake on blizzard part, because all it causes is unnecessary class wars. I don’t think anybody really complain that Moira healing through barriers? Just seems like a random nerf.

Ana can heal through players (People asked for this), but now Moira can’t heal through Barriers. (Nobody really asked for that ) Seems odd.

True, but not being able to heal through barriers would be a big nerf to her too, just like it is to moira.

They even nerfed Moira more than what they put in the patch notes. Wow… lol

She gets less healing back when damaging now. Was not in the patch notes. Her fade no longer counts as existing on point or near the payload. There nis more but this is jaw dropping. they must of been scared to post any of this.

Moira dropped in pickrate? Nerf her.
Doomfist rose in pickrate? Buff him.

I don’t think they care about the state of heroes when they look at balance changes.

This isn’t about Mercy being good (Even though she is currently the strongest healer)

This is about Moira being unnecessarily nerfed which now makes Mercy a better pick for shield tanks

Oh and apparently the barrier thing wasn’t the only nerf according to sources so gg

So by your logic if they screw up one hero by all means screw up other heroes to compensate. Thats just silly.

They need to fix her bug where a hero is clearly in LoS of moira but because a shield is there she cant heal them because her healing hitbox is blocked by the shield hitbox.

We need to stop blaming other heroes when the devs make changes that are clearly stupid.

Her average Resurrects are 6.
This meta is pretty much about who can enable and play VS Hanzo the best. Mercy enables pretty much any mid~long range DPS, same reason Brig, Hanzo, Widow, Rein, and Zarya are meta. They all enable or can shut him down.

Again, not blaming Mercy
Blaming the fact that Blizzard doesn’t understand if they nerf Moira for something so crucial it gives another character (who is already in the topped of the charts) more viability, thus you will see her more and once again become a must pick

I understand that but Mercy has been in the meta prior to Moira’s “fix”. There’s no reason to attack her because the devs made the dumb decision. You risk making more heroes useless simply because of an issue that the devs created.

Aside from that they took this long to patch this “fix” when they informed us about it long time ago that is another misstep on their part. They might as well leave Moira alone and let her heal through shields.

Seems convenient with Symmetra’s new ult…:expressionless:

i always found her to be overtuned

she got so much sustain on top of being able to escape anything every few seconds

the only bad about her kit is that she is bad on open maps like numbani and junkertown
