So McCree's pickrate just gets higher and higher

Not like he can roll past it and right click… or there’s the rest of your team to follow up… or you cancelled a critical ability with a BS range stun without even a kill.

Are you certain walls can block his damage? Pretty sure he is meta becuase of his wall bangs…

Sounds like a solid play on the McCree’s part to nail a shutdown behind a wall on a hero he can’t see. Flash duration lasts for 0.8 seconds, his roll takes up time, he has to get his crosshair on target… how much time left on that stun for damage is there exactly?

Sounds like a solid, easily executable play, which is one of the many factors he’s doubling every other DPS picks across almost every single rank.

Move on…

This game is full of easily executed abilities and always has been. If you’re frustrated by McCree, whatever comes next is going to be even worse for you.

Maybe it’s you who should move on? :man_facepalming:

Ignore all current statistics and focus on the points that you (think) make an argument in your defense that McCree isn’t blatantly over tuned.

You’re only embarrassing yourself, carry on.

You didn’t emoji correctly. Let me help.

What statistics make him overtuned besides his pickrate though? What could I possibly be ignoring?

You didn’t get the memo. He does too much.

You see he can shoot people, and stun them, and maybe roll around like he’s in Dark Souls. Pretty bloated kit all told. Also his bullets don’t disappear after 30 meters.

Im… totally fine with people complaining about mccrees power level but-

did you really imply ‘roll’ is ‘mobility’? Thats like saying brigs shield bash is mobility just because it… moves the character lol
Roll is more like a glorified reload :joy:

Mobility is something that lets you escape, traverse the map (vertically, across gaps, horizontally [across a noticeable distance] or is on a short cooldown).

You can’t scale a building with roll. Can’t cross gaps. Can’t cross the objective. Can’t use it continuously. If anything, roll is a ‘dodge’.

Mobility is things like, baps jump-boots, tracers blinks, dooms kit, mercys GA, monkeys jump, hammonds kit etc. Mccree can roll from infront of you… to … 5ft to the left of you.

‘want mobility?’
Okay when are you going to benefit from this mobility to the point you would choose him… for mobility? You dont. You use it to dodge or reload.

Entirely different situation to when Genji was buffed to being OP for a few weeks. He was the most picked DPS with an obscenely high winrate (at least 57% iirc).

with its roll distance buff its not half bad tbh

Do you approach every situation seriously without the intent to have fun?

It’s like Tracer. She is powerful in hand of very skilled player. Same with McCree.
If you aren’t good with McCree, he is crap.
Inbalance would be, if McCree is strong regardless skill of a player. Like Brig 1.0

Honestly I don’t get how can u bring winrate into discussion.
He is perma picked in both teams, obviously 1 has to lose, so having 50% or lower is just normal.
Winrate in OW specifically is the dumbest argument you can bring, alongside medals for in-game performance.

So we’re gonna pretend that all those “nerf zarya pls” posts never existed?

Okay so explain the math behind this to me

EDIT: Also nerfing FTH won’t do anything. We don’t need to gut him in lower tiers while keeping him great in the higher tiers. The balance should work the other way around in this case

Sure?

Then why he have stun, insta reload button and fth combo???

to gatekeep, which is really his only strong suit. He’s a short to medium range optimal character. It’s just that the enemy team doesn’t really like being gatekeeped.

It’s because he’s the only hero with both ranged burst damage and a stun, both of which are very important these days.
