So Marvel skins are a posibility, if your game earns enough money

a certain game just got a deal to bring Avengers Infinity War skins to it’s game.
I don’t think OW is making nearly enough money to do that, but just in case they do, it is possible to get it, if Blizzard makes a deal with Marvel.

If they won’t get a premission from Marvel to make Marvel themes skins, Marvel will probably strike (is that the right word?) them for copyrights. I mean, to make items that are based on other company’s products they need to get a premission from said company, right?

The licensing fees for Disney property are probably astronomical. Even if you “make enough money” to do it, you’re cutting your profit margins by an obscene amount.

Easier to just make good skins that people want to buy regardless of affiliation. sorry winston

That movie wrecked me and I think if I saw Infinity War skins in game I wouldn’t be able to play while ugly crying.

Who plays Paladins? When episode 8 was released in December 2017, HiRez created 2 starwars skins for Cassie and Torv. The skins have starwars sound effects , and Paladins is not Pay for play game. So it all depends on the game studio. Cassie skin is similar to Jin Erso (Star Wars Rogue One) And stix is BB8, cassie’s Bow sounds like starwars blasters. Meanwhile Torv is darth Vader.

Considering that foreign mobage that i don’t even know what is named has DC licensed junk, Overwatch can do whatever it wants.

Fortnite is trash garbage, so

I think you underestimate the cash cow that has been Overwatch these past two years, plus they have WoW, Diablo 3, HotS, and Hearthstone still making varying degrees of riches. Esp Hearthstone.

I sort of think licensed skins are cheesy, though. Except Sith Lord Winston. That would be acceptable.

Fortnite is as fotm as pubg. It might stick like Minecraft because it’s drawing in the 10 year old boys, but that doesn’t not make it minecraft + hunger games.
