So many players are using aimbots nowadays it's out of hand

I’ve been watching replays of many of my matches for the past days/weeks because I was feeling something was off. Just out of a few games in QP now, and enemies shots felt way too weird and oppressive, including supports. After replaying the matches from different player’s pov, I saw that at least half of them were cheating.
I’ve played OW since launch, and before you could find the occasional cheater. You could see them more often in OW2 after launch, but now they are EVERYWHERE.
The experience is completely ruined for many players, including mine. Blizzard needs to take action quickly and more severely because this is getting out of hand.

Hey, could you share some replays to see if it’s true or not?

Thx!

lol to see if it is true?, lots of complaints about it, some of them are so obvious too. f2p always opens up the floodgates to cheaters.

I think I’ve never posted anything here so here you go, my last match as support:

4H84SA.

At least 3 enemies and 2 teammates were using cheats.

Not seeing it. But I did only watch about a minute .

Cycled through every hitscan… nothing. Just super low mouse sensitivity people who look like they need more desk real estate.

Any timestamps or characters I should be watching?

Watched the first round all enemies. Some really rough aim. Only thing that looked weird was the dps that kept stopping, and it looked like ok hes turning it on now. But then aim was still bad. So either it kicks in after the first round or im not seeing anyone let alone 3.

Having said that i have ran into more cases lately in my games of what i consider questionable, as in are you really that good. But its still only like 2 players across a 6 hour session. Only ones ive confirmed to where im reporting that, definite locking have been 2 -3 across months.

You are correct. The issue is at its worst currently, and people have realized you can make money by either boosting or de-ranking accounts, which means everyone doing this will be using cheats to make their “job” more efficient. Then as others see more people using cheats, they fall into the temptation so that they can feel they’re on an “even playing field”.

I’m really trying my best to be nice on the game at this point but it’s too much, every single match has at least one cheater, and often two or three. Call it out in chat, you get flamed by them and your teammates are usually oblivious to it and brush it off. I’m not playing nearly as much as I used to and it’s very disappointing playing matches that you can tell have cheaters in them within 1 minute of starting them. It’s very obvious when cheating is present and once you begin to see it, you never un-see it. Almost every match is reporting people for cheating, this started to get really bad in the past 3 months or so, mid last year it wasn’t nearly this rampant.

Same as Quaesitor, share some replays where you see a cheater for example…

Like Krotoan and Krazeyeyez said, I don’t see anything suspicious.

Edit :

Proofs > feelings.
