I’m legit sick of losing match after match after match after match after match after match.
I’m busting my freaking booty and I am playing very well. Yet, the teams I keep ending up on are, more often than not, complete and absolute trash.
It’s not fair AT ALL that our comp rank depends on four other people.
I keep ending up on teams with tanks that have no idea how to play AT ALL. DPS that can’t even pull more than 5k dps by the end of the second round. Healers that can’t heal at all or Moira’s that spend all their time DPS’ing and pull less than 3k healing.
It is such a joke that all you have to do is get 50 wins in unranked and then you can play comp. You’re basically telling everyone in the game, “here, if you can SNL Stewie “look what I can do”” 50 times, then you can play with the big boys. And that is absolute crap.
Please fix your matchmaking. So many comp players are suffering because of this ridiculous matchmaking system.
First, do not listen to any you deserve your rank goblins
Second, be aware you get EVERYTHING on your team. Go to the part grand finals. Thats 2 new players ore whatever it is in a gold/plat lobby in my team. 0 game sense… it is NOT you. It is how blizzard care about
Same man. I’m diamond now in OQ so you would think the clueless players would be gone right? Nope. Somehow they’re still here and must have won enough matches to rank up from gold. I’d really love to know how as I’ve seen people that don’t even know their way to point or what their abilities do. In diamond where supposedly the top 10% of players are. I guess now everything is hidden these could actually be bronze players and nobody would ever know.
I wouldn’t mind a competitive pass every season around the same price as the battlepass. I think that would remove a lot of the casual players from the mode. I’m not looking forward to season 2 where whichever team has the tank with the battlepass wins
I’ve recently just made it up to Plat and compared to this rank in OW1, some matches the team mates you get/the enemy team are just so braindead it feels as if you’re playing against silvers. It makes it even harder to rank up because if you get the noobs on your team and the other team get experienced players then you will more than likely lose which makes it even harder to climb.
Dude they are little kids. like 10 yr olds. They have no idea what to do. They have no brains at all, no critical thinking, nothing. They just run out and have no game sense, blinders on and just hold left click and think they are doing something.
Blizzard needs to add ID to Comp games you need to be 18+ to play lol. I’ve lost so many games because of little kids in my comp games.
That’s a terrible mindset to have and suggest. You’re the only variable on the team that can be controlled so to suggest nothing is your own fault prevents growth and ultimately halts climbing.
No offence but open que’s player base compared to role que (how the game is played professionally) is so minuscule that gold elo is probably on par with Bronze/Silver role que elo.
There are so many more variables that can go wrong in open que on the select screen alone that to suggest your teammates had “0 game sense” seems unfair when they could have been trying to fill in a position for the team that they’re not familiar with.
I am sorry to say that - but i have the same examples in DPS even more brutal. I just didn´t finished the video/content yet. I had brand new players vs Grandmaster 1 in dps, ore plat/hidden profile grp, vs 3 Master 1 and 2 Master 5. As on, as on.
Will come soon tough, maybe i have time on the weekend to finish it.
as you see in the video - if you get this 2 players in your lobby - i want to see you carrying it. It would mean you can easy play a 2vs5 in Gold/Plat - so you are a TOP pro player ore GM.
idk, i want to know that from the clever mates here - who are telling around it is always your own fault in overwatch because everything is balanced and fine. This just provenly show´s the opposite is reality.
The problem in general i have with it, this games are basecally caused by a lose when a team mate left midgame - the game count is a full loose, so it has to test you harder next game, overwatch is one of the only games who does that if someone leaves. So it counts a loose, you were not able to WIN this last game for your 7 win. You were THAT bad, even the timer was 1:1 ore we had more time - so it was 100% winnable but no, the game count is a loose and a hard one, so the next is even harder. The loose streak will start because the game trys now to bring fast as possible were you belong at (it is invalid data tough, the loose caused by someone leaves, not my fault on skill).
This happen more then 10 times, after wins - someone leaves midgame, next game sometimes uncarryable. I have to accept it, until the games went normal, i just kill every round 60 supports again until someone leaves again midgame and the story starts again.
I see what he is trying to say. He is saying getting a loss from someone d/c or leaving the game causes an auto loss because we all know 9 times out of 10 4v5 is a lost fight.
He is saying the fact that you get a loss from someone leaving the game and the system is thinking that it was HIS skill/fault that gave him that loss. The system will put him in matches that will be much harder to win against to adjust his Rank down.
So leaver = auto loss = system doesn’t know there was a leaver = system gives harder matches to auto lose more to adjust the players rank down.
That’s what I’m interpreting him saying.
Pretty much if someone leaves the game mid game it should be a Draw not a loss for the team the person D/C on or w.e. I been saying that for a long time.
That’s why there are these long losing streaks after a winning streak. I’ve had the same thing happen.
This COULD ACTUALLY be why MANY MANY people are seeing these “STOMP” games happening myself included.
The Losing teams/players could have been on a Win Streak and the system put them against a much harder team to drop their ranks down.
Like I was on a 6 game streak and the 7th game there was a leaver but he left very quickly and it was just a re-q game I didn’t get a loss. THEN the NEXT game was SUPER HARD for me… Now this is just 10 minutes ago. I had over 50 kills and only 6 deaths and almost lost the game… I had to try so hard to win that game. I even said in Voice, “How are we losing this?” it was very odd.
Yes 100% and that provenly. causing a loose again and again and again obviously after someone leaves the games is just freaked out, compared to the 4-5-6 EASY WINS before. I would not say anything if i would have a hard time during the win streaks, but basically mostly they are just stomps.
Just seen in the video, gameplay of winstreak - then someone leaves and next game perhaps 2 new players in my team xD
Same on DPS que same things happen again and again and again after someone leaves.
i tracked 8.6% of my lose caused by someone left midgame and i really mean midgame… i just upload some screens do demonstrate a bit what i am talking about.
the problem is not the noobs, the problem is that with the matchmaking system they are using, those noobs will end up as part of your team even if you are in a rank way higher than theirs, some of them didn’t even got a rank, yet there they are, in matches with plats, gold, silver, etc
I think you compare here 2 different worlds, and old title wich was to buy - ore a free to play game. Your comparison might is true - but still makes in the present no sense.
Don’t new accounts start at gold and work up to diamond? This was a thing in OW1 which is why there are all of those “Unranked to GM” and not “Bronze to whatever” because they have to hard throw in OW1 to get bronze. In the UTG vids since OW2 the streamers are literally in gold/plat matches for the first game.
Edit : TylerG already beat me to it and I hadn’t read every post. Also, consoles had unlimited accounts in OW1, so I can’t discount there are at/over 50 million OW accounts world wide. Especially since the Game Cafes are still running non-stop in SE Asia.
