Has anyone seen a massive increase in people switching to bastion the moment a match goes the opposite end? usually I will see this every once in a while but now it feels like it happens in nearly every match. Are people seriously that desperate to win a match that often.
Since their rework Bastion is bad. Just go S76 and boom, no more bastion lol.
Dework Bastion. Give back infinity sentry mode, repair and tank mode.
and make him the worst hero in the game again??? IJBOLL no.
the best way they couldāve made bastion a BETTER hero wouldāve been not to buff everything about him, but to swap his bomb launcher to his E and give him back self repair for his secondary.
Good ol desperation Bastion. Whatās funny is heās far less threatening since they did the rework. Just stay out of LOS and burst him when heās done doing pew pew turret things. I think people still do this out of habit. Kinda like how people still think Winston is a good Sym counter in no limits.
Infinite sentry mode > a [REDACTED] snail-slow tank for merely 6 seconds.
Infinite repair > a [REDACTED] grenade that now is just slightly faster
Configuration TANK > one of the most [REDACTED] ults in the entire game
funnily enough i found bastion to be pretty underwhelming and easy to deal with myself, on either end.
Bastion is waaaay better now
This season, Bastion is actually very good. Heās a solid A-tier hero right now. I think heās actually maybe too good. Nerf Bastion!
honestly i would love if they returned configuration TANK. its 10x better than his current ult and much funner too. if they just did these,
- config tank is his ult
- grenade is moved to ability 2 and self repair is his secondary
then he would be in a much better spot than he was ever before. and his current sentry is much better than the old one, as yes he moves slightly slower but its at the cost of having infinite ammo and a very fast fire rate.
plus, his main complaint was sentry being immobile, soā¦
Yep⦠itās annoying, and it doesnāt even work half the time lol
Bastion is meta now and its the most annoying thing apart from pocket sojourn in season 1. The recent bastion changes have made him a crutch for all ranks across the board and heās incredibly tough to take down. The dude gets free armor for turning into tank melting mode, who in blizzard thought this was a good idea? Bastion already has a ton of health to begin with and now he gets armor on top of that. Its frustrating and incredibly hard to deal with him if he gets supports with common sense pocketing him for a free win. Its gotten so bad that even I have been forced to use bastion or risk losing games just because they switched to bastion and they were melting my tank.
Itās literally free sr and I mock them everytime, I know its slightly toxic but I got tired of this crap in ow1 learn how to actually play the game and you wouldnāt NEED a handicap and you could actually break your bad habits.
Donāt even get me STARTED on symmetra. Sheās still a problem on console and gets cheese wins but ehh ever since the nerf she actually feels tolerable, as long as my teams in coms its a free win⦠The problem comes in when they arenāt.
Bastion as its stands is fine, he has clear weakness that can be exploited, his turret form doesnāt give a headshot multiplier and he is succeptible to a well timed dive, but strong against brawl, poke he loses no matter what and his ult can only be a threat to those who arenāt moving.
Ivāe battle plenty of bastions in my fair share of time that the only time he would get me if he timed his turret form on me getting me off guard, aside from that i do hope people will realize that loosing your patience and asking your tank for assistance will never be the call until his turret form is up you wait and hide.
Thereās bastion and sym basically every game on masters. I think bastion is fine, but heās grenade is kinda annoying
I see him all the time, but that is probably because he counters bad Hog players and they⦠Assume I am bad⦠Which is why they are trying to counterpick me? I have no clue, fam. I am not a Bastion main.
He got some pretty massive buffs this season, so that is probably why.
