For the second time out of a Legendary Anniversary Lootbox. Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t duplicates from that box be impossible? I will make this known now. I do not play on Jakunonon or SempaiKush, my PSN account, because that account was on my brother’s PS4.

I thought the drops for dupes were just reduced.
Unless you already have all anniversary legendary skins in which case you getting a 2nd copy makes sense.
Legendary Boxes were guaranteed to not drop duplicates. The same thing happened the first time Golden Loot Boxes were implemented. Unless I’ve misunderstood something
Well, they are supposed to not be duplicated any further. But there are some exceptions.
You are guaranteed to get at least 1 anniversary item per loot box for example. But unless you have unlocked all the items in that tier, you shouldn’t be seeing a duplicate. I was simply saying that if you already had all the legendary items for the anniversary event and the only anniversary item that dropped was a legendary, it could duplicate.
But again, console vs PC, not sure on that. I was under the impression the changes were the same. I have not seen a legendary duplicate for a long time from any box and certainly not from a legendary box.
I thought you only get one Legendary Lootbox when you first open the game during the event? Rest are ‘‘normal’’ event lootboxes.

This is also true. You only got the one box that was a guaranteed legendary.

If you got the legendary lootbox from buying the bundle, then I think the legendary lootbox generate it’s contents first. It’s certainly the one they encourage you to open first. Anyway, their contents are generated at time of purchase.
So opening the regular anniversary lootboxes first and then saving the legendary one for last doesn’t do anything except set you up for possible disappointment.

I always start with the Legendary Box. The free one with the event start gave me Formal. Some time later I got Cybjörn, and after purchasing the bundle I went to open the Legendary Box and pulled Cybjörn again
So you had Cybjörn unlocked in the hero gallery prior to purchase of the bundle?

Yes, that is correct. Buccaneer and Sherlock were Skins I hadn’t gotten prior to the purchase, but while opening the 50 normal boxes, I got both of them. Why would the Legendary Box give me a skin I already had when there were two I didn’t have?
It shouldn’t do that, unless something has changed. I would put in a ticket to customer service.
Actually maybe they changed it. I’m looking at the product description of the legendary lootbox on the PSN and it says

On top of that, every Loot Box may contain an item from any past seasonal events or other classic content! Did you get the rest of the legendaries in the pack of 50? If so, then the contents of the bonus gold box must be determined after the contents of the 50.

This was confirmed true. You can appeal for a new box, and they will give you a new one. You’re not supposed to get any duplicates, so if you or someone else gotten some out of the golden ones, that is on them and they acknowledge that.

You will only get Legendary Duplicates if you have all event items or all normal items.
