So I need some advise from you guys

It has to do with zarya in low ranks if my team wants to keep charging zarya all game what am I supposed to do I tell them to stop but they continue to do it. So she stays at 100 all game and then melts me as a dps no matter who I am cause that beam at 100 melts in like 2 seconds it feels like. Am i just screwed and have to lose cause they picked zarya and my team is to slow to not shoot bubble

You could try using, pretty much literally 90% of dps characters and just stay out of the range of zaryas beam?

Just a thought.

Like, don’t stand next to zarya.

If the rest of the team is already just shooting the bubbles then go with it. Stay out of her reach and pop them both, she has no defense and you finish her off. Not ideal but better than letting her get them back and cycle them.

Ignore first bubble, go ham second bubble.

Zarya is going to get charged regardless of rank you are playing at.

She’s stocky, easy to hit and her head doesn’t bobble a lot. Play Bastion and count her bubbles and she’s toast.

so I asked for advice and I get some dude being passive aggressive with me lol

Yeah Zarya’s beam is really long, can reach mid-range characters easily.

idk at that point i’d tell them to lean in to it.

She uses bubbles? Everyone focus her and burst through them.

that would explain why I can’t beat her the best with my mains being genji tracer sombra and sometimes echo but i just don’t get why so many people shoot bubble i will try do what u guys are saying burst down second bubble

It’s not that people don’t want to shoot bubble. The human reaction time is literally not enough to stop people firing the moment the pink bubble comes up, not to mention projectiles in transit, latency, bubble actually makes her hitbox larger so people who would miss normally would still hit her, etc.,

And Zarya players in Champion rank still get to full charge with her. Is that because everyone in Champion wants to shoot the bubble? (Well yes, but that’s beside the point)

I think that the advice Andough gave is really the best advice. Ideally you wait for the 3rd bubble then all in her. But if your team won’t stop feeding her charge then the alternative is just to focus her hard.

Go Mauga, Bastion, Sojourn and just melt her as quickly as possible. Instead of avoiding charging her, do the opposite and just kill her first each fight by throwing as much damage as you can at her the second she is in range.

That way instead of changing your teams lack of trigger discipline, you just lean into it which can work just as well.

Third bubble?

welp tried it people in this rank don’t work together i told them lets try it they told me to shut up and play and figure it out

She has 2 bubble cooldowns. Waiting until she uses the 1st bubble cool down for the second time (the 3rd bubble) tends to give you the largest window of opportunity to burst her down. Just because usually bubble 1 is just to get charge, but bubbles 2 and 3 are usually needed to keep her from dying so they tend to be closer together.

Unless you force both bubbles and burn her down. Waiting for the third bubble is the weirdest suggestion I’ve seen.

I said don’t stand close to zarya; yes, in a passive aggressive manner. Does that mean you aren’t going to take the “advise?” Have fun trying to play OW then, lol.

It’s common advice from high ranked players. For example, watch Emongg give advice on playing against Zarya. It’s one of the first things he’ll say.

Also, I’m a D.Va main. It does work, at least unless the Zarya player mains her which is somewhat rare or your team just won’t get on the same page with you.

High ranks and low ranks play very, VERY differently.

If you’re playing damage and your team is shooting her bubbles already, Bastion could be the way to go. Help tear through her bubbles even faster and shred her health

I’ll take any clip of that, thanks.

They do. But this advice does work as long as your team follows your lead. All in on the 3rd bubble and Zarya dies without getting charged.

The trick is your team actually has to be on the same page.
